Dunwich Borers is a fairly large and confusing location in Fallout 4. It can be roughly divided into three parts: the upper part of the quarry, Station 4, and the underwater chamber. While the last part is relatively safe, the first two are very dangerous.

Upper Quarry

Let's start from the top of the quarry. In it, players will meet quite a few Forged raiders, including their leader, Bedlam. But, besides them, you need to be wary of other things, namely turrets and grenade traps. They are at almost every step, so players will have to look for workarounds and Terminals to deactivate them.

Also, note that the Dunwich Borers quarry is very deep. And while you are at the top of it, you should watch your step. Due to the confusing and narrow paths, you can easily fall there. Of course, if you have Freefall Legs, you have nothing to fear.

Station 4

When Sole Survivors go deeper into the lower part of the quarry, they will begin to see small visions. These hallucinations will show what the quarry looked like in its heyday. Also, instead of raiders, you will now encounter feral ghouls in the deep caves of Dunwich Borers. They are much stronger than the ghouls you are used to; some are even named.

Underwater Chamber

You will find a pool of water in one of the large caves. By jumping into it and swimming deeper, players can reach an underwater chamber in which they can find unique loot.

Do not jump into the water while wearing Power Armor. You won't be able to get out.

Dunwich Borers Location - Notable Loot
