Fallout 4 lets you explore a vast post-apocalyptic wasteland. The Commonwealth is filled with dungeons and bases waiting to be scavenged for weapons and parts. Some of these are off the beaten path and easy to miss.
Le Fusil Terribles is a unique combat shotgun that you can find. It comes equipped with the Violent legendary effect. This means it does +25% damage/limb damage to enemies. The effect also increases the gun's recoil, making it powerful, but unwieldy. It also comes with a drum magazine capable of holding 32 rounds. It can be one of the best weapons for dealing with close-range enemies. Here is how you can find it in Fallout 4.

Le Fusil Terribles Location
The shotgun can be found at Libertalia. This is an area in the far eastern part of the map. It's to the south of Nahant Wharf. It's best to approach it from the north and follow the bridges out onto the small islands that make up the coast. Swimming is not a good idea as the water is irradiated.
Libertalia is a floating raider camp made up of wreckage from the sea. There are wooden paths that can get you from one wreck to the next. Many raiders will be in the area ready to fight, so be prepared for a legendary or two to appear.
Get to the Captain's Cabin
You need to ascend the large tower at the center of the camp. You can make your way to the bottom and go up the stairs on the southern side. You can also use the lift on the northern side to skip the climb. Press the red button to bring the lift down. Be aware that the raiders can use it as well. There is a U.S. Covert Operations Manual magazine that can be found on the plank overlooking the camp on one of the higher levels.
Enter the Captain's Cabin at the back near the top of the tower. Le Fusil Terribles will be sitting on the yellow crate on the left when you enter.
Defeat Wire
If you want to completely clear the camp, you need to go up one more floor. Enter the room on the right and find the ladder propped against the wall.
Test out your new shotgun on the raider leader named Wire. Loot the steamer trunk on the roof to finish off the camp. If you visit Libertalia again, a new raider boss will be in his place equipped with power armor. If you follow the institute path, a runaway synth will be the leader of the camp instead.
