Erin Rice is a Writing Specialist from the United States. She has a Master of Arts in Composition and Rhetoric and works as a professor and Academic Success Coach, teaching students about writing and how to be successful in academia. Additionally, she works with the Good Gamer Group on some of their video game tests. She has been writing about video games for a couple of years and has written for DualShockers and now The Best War Games.
She focuses on PC, Nintendo and PlayStation games, but she loves all platforms. She is also an expert in RPGs, World of Warcraft, The Legend of Zelda, and Baldur's Gate 3.
Fallout 76 is one of Bethesda's online games, and it allows players to enter into the world of Fallout with their friends. Throughout the game, the player will play as a Vault Dweller from Vault 76, which was opened 25 years after the Great War and the fallout. They will then work on exploring the region of Appalachia and figuring out what has happened since the war.
While playing the game, players will be able to experience a whole host of interesting events that Bethesda has created to keep players guessing. One event is known as Fasnacht Day or Fasnacht Pride (which is one of the best events in the game). This is an event that takes place in Helvetia, and new events will happen every hour. This event usually happens around twice a year, and it happened earlier in February 2024, meaning that this is the second time that this event has taken place this year. During the event, players will need to head to Helvetia and speak to the Master of Ceremonies. He can usually be found around the bridge located near Honey Haus. Players must speak to him at the top of the hour and will only have a 7-minute grace period before they are locked out of the event for that hour.
Players will be taksed with finding five of eight Protectrons around the town and helping them with tasks. Once their task is completed, they will don their Fascnacht Mask and walk to the center of the town, waiting for the others to join them. Here are all the available tasks:
