All Microscope Locations in Fallout 76
The best place to farm Microscopes in Fallout 76 is Ella Ames' Bunker. You will find six Microscopes there. Navigating the bunker is also super quick, and there are no enemies to worry about. While this likely won't be enough to satisfy any timed challenges like 'scrap junk to produce fiber optics,' the next best place to find Microscopes is AVR Medical Center. You will discover four Microscopes in the basement and three on the upper floors. However, be aware that the building is full of Scorched enemies, which can pose a challenge. On the bright side, this also means you can kill them to complete more timed challenges requiring you to slay them.
Here are all the other Microscope locations in Fallout 76 if the above two don't work for you:
- Arktos Pharma (Biome Lab): There are six Microscopes in the lab and one in the basement. However, you'll need passcode 970930 to access the basement area.
- West Tek Research Center: Five Microscopes are spread throughout this location.
- Morgantown High School: The science classroom at the High School has four Microscopes. You can find this classroom by taking a right after entering the school. Then, head down the stairs, take a left, and look for a pumpkin drawn on a wall near the room.
- Morgantown Airport: The medical hanger at the airport has three Microscopes. It is near the medical lab, with the quarantine sign in the northwest portion. You'll find one microscope on the upper and two on the downstairs levels.
- The following locations all have one Microscope: Watoga Shopping Plaza, Clarksburg, Black Mountain Ordnance Works, Flatwoods, Silva Homestead, Abandoned Mine Shaft 5, Mount Blair Trainyard, Hornwright Estate, Pylon V-13, Hunter's Shack, Thunder Mountain Power Plant Yard, The Crater, Wade Airport, Kanawha Nuka-Cola Plant, and Braxton's Quality Medical Supplies.
