The Fallout universe has lots of drinks to satisfy thirsty wastelanders. For the most part, Nuka-Cola is the most popular drink in the world of Fallout. With the exception of Vim on Far Harbor and a healthy competition between Nuka-Cola and Sunset Sarsaparilla in Fallout New Vegas, Nuka-Cola sits at the top of the list for most post-war soda fans.
Fallout 76: How to Get Weaponized Nuka-Cola Schematics
You can fire explosive Nuka-Cola bottles in Fallout 76. This guide will show you how to get the required schematics.
In Fallout 76, there are lots of Nuka-Cola variants for players to enjoy. Some offer great temporary uses, while others are great for crafting things such as bombs and ammo. This list will go over some of the best Nuka-Cola beverages in the game.
7 Nuka-Cola Vaccinated
Honorable Mention
- Base Effects: Reduce damage taken from Scorched enemies by 15% for 10 minutes. Resources 2% HP for 20 seconds
Nuka-Cola Vaccinated deserves an honorable mention. While it isn't particularly useful during day-to-day gameplay, it does play a pretty important role in the game's story. Nuka-Cola Vaccinated is a drink that is made by the player. Its purpose is to inoculate fellow wastelanders to prevent them from becoming Scorched. Unfortunately, after completing the questline surrounding this drink, it doesn't really have much of a use. However, since it's a part of the story, it deserves to be mentioned on this list.
6 Nuka-Cola Grape
Removes Radiation And Restores Health
- Base Effects: Restores 15% Water, 150 HP, 50 AP, And Removes 400 Rads
Nuka-Cola Grape is a pretty powerful drink. It removes a whopping 400 rads from the player. This can be very useful when completing events inside nuke zones. It also restores 150 HP and boosts the player's AP by 50. While it's not as useful as many of the other entries on this list, it can be a very handy drink for those who want to help keep the rads away but don't have any Radaway to spare. This beverage, like most of the other Nuka-Cola drinks on this list, can be purchased from Bubbles in The Whitespring Refuge.
Fallout 76: Best Events To Complete For Farming Junk
Looking to farm some junk in Fallout 76? Give these events a try.
Unfortunately, the robot vendor only has one bottle. However, if the player hops to a new server, then Bubbles will have another bottle for players to buy. So, if the player is willing to hop servers a few times, there's no limit as to how much Nuka-Cola Grape they can collect.
5 Sugar-Free Nukashine
A Blast From The Past
- Base Effects: 50% AP Regen, -80% Spring AP Cost, +25% Fall Speed, +25 Damage Resistance, And +100% Unarmed Damage. All Effects Are Active For Two Minutes
This drink offered players all of the benefits that come from drinking regular Nukashine. The only real difference is that the player won't blackout after drinking it. Unfortunately, this drink isn't craftable and was only given out as a Scoreboard reward a couple of years ago. At the time of writing, there's no way of getting hold of a bottle of this beverage as it was an untradable temporary reward.
While there's no guarantee, there's always a chance that Bethesda will bring back this drink further down the road. This drink was incredibly powerful for those who enjoyed using unarmed attacks. For a short 2-minute window, Sugar-Free Nukashine turned the player into an unstoppable beast.
4 Nuka-Cola Cranberry
A Refreshing Drink With A Nice XP Buff
- Base Effects: Restores 15% Water, 40 HP, And Grants The Player +2% XP Gain For 30 Minutes
Nuka-Cola Cranberry is the only Nuka-Cola drink that offers players a boost to XP gain. This boost can be further increased if the player invests a couple of points into Cola Nut. While a standard 2% increase doesn't sound like a lot, when used with other XP-boosting buffs, it can help players squeeze out some extra XP.
The one downside to Nuka-Cola Cranberry is its scarcity. Unlike most of the other Nuka-Cola drinks in the game, Nuka-Cola Cranberry can only be found in a couple of locations. Provided nobody else has picked it up recently, there's a chance to find a bottle of this beverage at one of the locations mentioned below:
- Belching Betty: On a command center on the second floor of a concrete building.
- Clancy Manor: On the stairs by the front porch
- The Whitespring Station: In a railcar just north of the train station
There are a few other locations where players can find this drink. Also, there are a couple of CAMP items that have a chance to give the player a bottle of Nuka-Cola Cranberry:
- Nuka-Cola Collectron Station
- Nuka-Cola Mystery Machine
3 Nuka-Cola Cherry
A Slight Twist On Nuka-Cola Classic
- Base Effects: Restores 15% Water, 100 HP, And 25 AP
Nuka-Cola Cherry is a pretty decent drink. It does help to fill the player's health bar, and it's also good for filling the player's thirst meter. However, its use in ammo production is what makes this drink so good. Provided the player has read the plan, Nuka-Cola Cherry can be used to craft Nuka-Cherry Ammo for the Thirst Zapper. When used, this ammo type inflicts an explosive fireball that is very good at taking down multiple enemies at the same time. While not as powerful as Nuka-Cola Quantum Ammo (featured in an entry below), it's still very good at taking down enemies.
2 Nuka-Cola Classic
Great For Thirst And Good For Killing Enemies
- Base Effects: Restores 15% Water, 40 HP, And 10 HP
Nuka-Cola Classic is the most iconic drink in the Fallout universe. This can be found scattered throughout the wasteland, both in bottles and on billboards. This drink can be pretty good for filling up the player's thirst bar, especially if the player is using the perk Cola Nut. However, similar to Nuka-Cola Cherry, Nuka-Cola Classic can be turned into ammo for the Thirst Zapper.
When used, this ammo causes some hefty radiation damage to enemies. It also deals a decent amount of ballistic damage, making it a pretty versatile ammo type. Nuka-Cola Classic can also be used to craft grenades. A Nuka Grenade is pretty cheap to craft, and even without any points invested in Demolition Expert, it still does a great deal of damage to nearby enemies.
1 Nuka-Cola Quantum
Perfect For Making Bombs
- Base Effects: Restores 200 HP and 100 AP
Nuka-Cola Quantum is a very useful drink. Drinking this beverage helps heal players substantially. It's also great for regenerating lost AP. However, its main use is for crafting powerful ammo and grenades. Weaponized Nuka-Cola Quantum Ammo inflicts lots of fire damage on enemies. This makes it especially useful when dealing with enemies that have a weakness to fire attacks.
As for the grenade, a Nuka-Quantum Grenade is much more powerful than a standard Nuka Grenade. Players often use this type of grenade to help gain extra XP since it has a large explosive range.
