The Blue Devil outfit in Fallout 76 derives from the Blue Devil creature, similar to that of a werewolf. This outfit can be a great way to not only protect your character, but also to give them a new look similar to that of the legendary creature. Getting the outfit isn't the easiest thing to do, however.
You'll need to complete a quest in order to get the Blue Devil outfit (it's not available for purchase anywhere). This guide will show you exactly what you need to do.

How To Get Blue Devil Outfit In Fallout 76
Currently, in Fallout 76, there is only one way to obtain the Blue Devil Outfit and the Blue Devil Pelt Hood. This is by completing the Safe and Sound public event. To find events, visit the map page and check the bottom left corner of World Activity. Each public event will be labeled by a yellow hexagon.
It is not guaranteed that the Safe and Sound event will be available when you look, but it often pops up whenever a new hour begins.
The event can be found at the Middle Mountain Pitstop, which is located east of The Whitespring Resort and south of Top of the World. When you arrive here, you can begin the event by speaking to Vera Thornberg. Then, you'll need to defeat the enemies that appear and repair 6 circuit breakers. They will be labeled on your map. After that, you'll need to defend the repeller generator from three waves of enemies.
During the last wave, you'll be all on your own, and the Blue Devil final boss will appear. You'll need to successfully defeat it in order to complete the event and get your rewards. Definitely bring along powerful weapons, such as a Minigun, to beat the boss with ease. You'll also find that using grenades can make it easier to keep a distance from the boss to defeat it. After you complete the event, you'll have a 7 percent chance of receiving the plan for the Blue Devil outfit. This is due to the fact that there are 14 different plans that could be dropped, so you aren't guaranteed to get it the first time. You can play the event multiple times, however, so you can try again to get the Blue Devil outfit.

How To Craft Blue Devil Outfit In Fallout 76
To craft the Blue Devil Outfit and the Blue Devil Pelt Hood, after acquiring the plan for the items, you will need to make them in an armor workbench with specific materials. To make them, you will need:
- Blue Devil Outfit - Cloth x4
- Blue Devil Pelt Hood - Cloth x4
There are a few ways you can get Cloth in Fallout 76. You can usually get it from junk items found in abandoned buildings and homes, with one of the best sources being from Teddy Bears. You can usually get it from other household items as well, such as cigarettes, napkins, burger trays, magazines, and more.
