Collision Course is an event that most players will encounter fairly soon after leaving Vault 76. This event is great for players of all levels. It is a fast event that can be repeated pretty often, making it a great choice for players wanting to grind for some resources.

While it isn't the most lucrative event in Fallout 76, Collision Course is perfect during Spooky Scorched and Holiday Scorched events as this event spawns lots of Scorched enemies. Not only that, but players have a small chance of getting some rare apparel each time they complete the event. This guide will go through all there is to know about Collision Course.

How To Complete Collision Course

Collision Course Event Start

To start the event, you'll need to head to the bottom end of Morgantown Airport. Once you pass through the gates at the end of the runway, the event should automatically trigger. If it doesn't trigger, that means that someone else has recently completed it on that server. The cool-down period on any given server for Collision Course is 30 minutes. So, if the event doesn't trigger for you, just hop to another server and try again.

When you set off the flair to begin the event, you'll need to take down a total of 5 waves of Scorched enemies. They will spawn both on the hillside and just outside the airport. Each wave will have around 5-8 Scorched enemies that you'll need to kill.

The event is a pretty easy one to complete. These scorched enemies are pretty easy to kill. After you have killed the final Scorched enemy on wave 5, you'll need to wait for a Cargobot to drop some supplies. This can be a little buggy, so it may take a minute for the bot to land. But when it does, the event will be completed and you'll get your rewards.

Collision Course Rewards

For completing Collision Course, you'll get to loot the contents of the container dropped by the Cargobot. This includes some ammo, meds, some other random items, and some Pre-War Money. You'll also get some other items for completing the event.

The event rewards will vary. Typically, players will get some ammo, junk, and maybe a weapon or armor piece. However, if the player is incredibly fortunate, then they will receive a piece of rare apparel tied to forest events. Keep in mind that the chances of getting a piece of rare apparel are less than 1%. The rare apparel tied to forest events can be seen below:

  • Forest Camo Jumpsuit
  • Responders Fireman Helmet
  • Responders Fireman Outfit

It's worth noting that the Responders Firemen Helmet and Outfit are not the same pieces as the Firebreather's Uniform. While they look similar, they are different items entirely.
