Daily and weekly challenges help players progress through the season quickly. Fallout 76 has a large pool of challenges that change regularly. Some challenges are easy, like ones that require the player to build items at their CAMP. Others can be a bit trickier, like ones that involve consuming certain items.
Vintage Alcohol is a type of beverage that players may need to consume from time to time in order to complete certain challenges. While it may seem like a tricky challenge, it's actually very easy. There are certain areas and events that have a few bottles of alcohol that can be turned into a vintage beverage.

The Best Place To Find Vintage Alcohol
Head To Sunday Brother's Cabin
There are certain alcoholic drinks that age 'ferment' into vintage drinks. One of those drink types is called Mire Magic Moonshine. You can collect this drink and then ferment it before consuming it to complete a challenge centered around consuming vintage beverages.
There are several spawn locations in Sunday Brother's Cabin where players can pick up some Mire Magic Moonshine:
- Behind the main desk, inside the mouth of a mounted Yao Guai Head: 1 bottle.
- Upstairs in the first room at the top of the stairs. On a table next to the bunk beds: 2 bottles.
- Behind the barn, down the stairs, under a makeshift shack: 2 bottles.
It's worth noting that if another player has already picked them up, then they may not be there. You may need to hop servers a couple of times in order to find a bottle or two.
You can also be awarded a couple of bottles of Mire Magic Moonshine for completing the event Moonshine Jamboree.
Once you've got your Mire Magic Moonshine, you'll need to ferment it. This will naturally happen over time. The standard fermentation process will take two hours if the player doesn't have the perk Good With Salt active and is not using a refrigerated backpack mod.
You can speed up the process if you have completed the Wasted on Nukashine side quest. Completing this quest will grant you the ability to craft a Fermentor at your CAMP. If you place your Mire Magic Moonshine in the Fermentor, then it will take 1 hour to ferment instead of 2.
Crafting A Vintage Beverage
Make Your Own Vintage Alcohol
If you have completed the Wasted on Nukashine side quest, then you will be able to craft a Brewing Station and a Fermentor at your CAMP. These can be used to create Vintage Nukashine.
First, you'll need to craft a bottle of Nukashine. Crafting it costs the following:
- Corn: x5
- Razorgrain: x5
- Boiled Water: x2
- Nuka-Cola Quantum: x1
- Nuclear Material: x3
Once you have crafted it, just like with the Mire Magic Moonshine from the previous entry, you'll need to ferment it to turn it into a vintage beverage. Either let it ferment naturally over time or stick it in a Fermentor to speed up the process.
