There are lots of events that players can do in Fallout 76, from taking down the Scorchbeast Queen to hunting down groups of wolves. Some events require a location to be nuked, while others start randomly. And then, there are those that players can start by heading to specific locations.
One of the events that players can trigger in this way is Battle Bot, a very short event that can be completed in less than 60 seconds. While it's not the most popular event in Fallout 76, it is a great event for farming junk and gaining XP. Here's how to complete it.
Fallout 76: 8 Events That Give The Best Rewards
Players will come across a lot of goodies throughout Fallout 76's many events. These examples offer some of the best rewards.
How To Trigger the Battle Bot Event
Head To The Ash Heap Region
Players can activate the Battle Bot event by walking past a certain building in the Ash Heap region. To trigger the event, travel to Mount Blair Trainyard. More often than not, just spawning at this location will trigger the event.
However, if it does not automatically start, head towards the small building located at the eastern side of the trainyard. If the event still doesn't trigger, then it means someone has completed it recently, and it is going through a cooldown period. Simply hop servers and try again.
Completing Battle Bot
Three Robots and Three Buttons
The event itself is one of the simplest ones to complete in the game. All you need to do is take out a total of 3 robots, loot them, and then hit three buttons. Here's a step-by-step breakdown of what to do:
- Take out the security robot
- Recover keycards Alpha and Beta by killing the two Mr. Gutsty robots highlighted on your map.
- Head to the building marked on your map.
- On each side of the building, there is a keypad. Activate one of the keypads.
- Activate the second keypad within a few aeconds of activating the first keypad.
- Head inside the building and hit the master shutdown button.
Low-level players may struggle against the robot. To take them down easily, use an automatic rifle. While single-shot weapons can cause lots of damage, automatic rifles tend to be better at taking down robots.
Rewards For Completing Battle Bot
Upon completing the event, the player will be awarded some XP, Caps, and some random aid items, junk, and ammo. However, there are also some extra rewards that some players miss. Check the cabinet next to the master shutdown button. This cabinet contains lots of random loot, including junk, maps, ammo, weapons, food, and more. While they aren't the most exciting things in the game, they are great for players who are looking for some extra materials or ammo.
