In Fallout 76, Fiber Optics is a rare crafting material found only by scrapping specific junk items in Appalachia. You will use it to craft things like laser weapons and mods for them. In addition, you will occasionally see daily or weekly timed challenges that require you to scrap junk to produce Fiber Optics, five and ten items, respectively. However, the junk items that produce Fiber Optics are hard to come by as there are only a limited number of locations where you can find them. Here is how to farm Fiber Optics in Fallout 76 for all your crafting needs and to complete timed challenges to earn season tickets.
