Fallout 76 is an online multiplayer game that follows the story of a Vault Dweller from Vault 76. They are let out 25 years after The Great War and are forced to figure out how to survive in the new version of Appalachia that they find themselves in.

Ever since the game's release, Bethesda has released multiple expansions, the Skyline Valley one being the 19th expansion. Here's a guide to how to start this expansion and what to expect once it is started.

Where To Start The Skyline Valley Update In Fallout 76

The Skyline Valley update has added an entirely new section of the map, which is where a lot of the update's questline will take place. As soon as players log into the game after updating it, they will obtain the quest "An Unlikely Invitation." They will need to tune into the radio station Vault-Tec Radio Broadcast and then will need to head to the area circled on the map. This leads to a farmhouse with a woman named Alyssa, who will send players to the Ash Heap to search for Vault 63.

Ghouls Will Finally Be Playable in Fallout 76

On top of the announcement of the new Fallout map expansion, we've gotten news that we'll be able to eventually play as Ghouls!

Upon reaching the area marked on their map, the player will notice the entrance to a cave with black smoke coming out of it. Upon closer inspection, they will learn that this is the entrance to Vault 63, where the quest will end and the next quest, "Into Unknown Lands," will begin. This will then allow the player to enter into Vault 63 and begin their adventures learning about what happened to this Vault.

What Level Should You Be Before Doing Skyline Valley

As of now, it seems that there isn't a required level for Skyline Valley. Instead, players will automatically obtain the quest and can travel to the location at any point in the game. However, the recommended level for the Skyline Valley questline is 25, so players will probably want to be close to that level before they go venturing into the area. This will ensure that they are prepared for whatever foes they may meet while they are exploring.

Additionally, if new players are jumping into the game, they can pick the option to start out at level 20. While they will miss out on some beginning information, they can easily jump right into Skyline Valley and begin to unravel the secrets that Vault 63 has been keeping all these years.
