Summary

  • Fallout 76 players create impressive CAMP builds using a mix of in-game items and purchases from the Atom Shop.
  • One player turned a destroyed rail car into a vibrant "Box Car Bar" complete with themed decorations and lighting.

A Fallout 76 player shares their revamp of an old rail car into an incredible CAMP build. There have been many impressive Fallout 76 builds shared since it was released, but this one utilizes an abandoned rail car astonishingly well.

Like Fallout 4, Fallout 76 includes a player housing feature in which players use various object blueprints to make a base. Players can combine furniture earned by progressing through the game with items purchased in the Atom Shop or unlocked via Season Passes. As it's an online multiplayer game, the CAMP system in Fallout 76 has more limitations than Settlements in Fallout 4. Despite the restrictions, many gamers have shared incredible builds, detailing what's possible with the CAMP. Among these are a Mothman emporium, a casino-themed building, and various Summer camp areas themed around the Skyline Valley update. One gamer has shared an impressive creation that turns a destroyed rail car into a shining beacon in the wasteland.

Fallout 76 Player Creates Incredible Mothman Emporium

A Fallout 76 player shares their version of a Mothman Emporium online, showcasing their interest in the mysterious cryptid of Appalachia.

Reddit user AkinToTheBreach recently shared a clip highlighting their abandoned rail car CAMP. The video begins by showing the unimpressive and heavily damaged rail car before the player's changes from every angle. The clip then transitions to their completed rail car CAMP, which features a "Box Car Bar" that advertises Beckett's Booze, Old Possum Malt Liquor, Pickaxe Pilsner Beer, Nuka Cola, and Nuka Cola Dark. Posters surround glowing signs illuminating both sides of the rail car, while the inside has multiple light sources of different colors. The cramped interior fittingly has a Brewing Station with a Pots and Pans Rack hanging above it and a Fallout 76 energy weapon mounted on the wall for protection.

Where Is This Fallout 76 CAMP Located?

The Box Car Bar's bartender dons a Fasnacht Pig Mask which can be acquired during the Fallout 76 Fasnacht Day event. The cluttered inside includes the Mothman Equinox Souvenir and Jersey Devil Beer Steins, Slocum Joe Coffee Machine, and a Nuka Cola vending machine with a Thirst Zapper and Gunther's Big Iron revolver inside. A generator is necessary to power all the lights in and on the rail car, with the item requiring Ceramic, Copper, Gears, Steel, and Rubber to make. According to AkinToTheBreach, this CAMP can be found by following the train tracks from Berkeley Springs Train Station. The Reddit user hasn't confirmed how long the build took them to create, but the precise placement of items and the resources required suggests that it took a while despite the CAMP's small size.

With the small size of the rail car CAMP, AkinToTheBreach would likely have to remove items to add new ones. As Bethesda continues to update Fallout 76, more items may be added to the game that could be perfect additions to the Box Car Bar.
