Glowing Fungus grows all over the place in Fallout 76. It can be found in almost every location on the map. That said, there are some locations that are much more fruitful than others. Prior to picking up any Glowing Fungus, you should equip the Green Thumb perk, which doubles the amount of Glowing Fungus you'll pick up. As for the best locations to search, see the list below for details:

  • Wendigo Cave: Inside the cave there's Glowing Fungus on almost every wall.
  • The River Between Flatwoods and Hillfolk Hotdogs: If you follow the river, you'll find around 50 Glowing Fungus dotted between the aforementioned locations.
  • Sparse Sunder Grove: Look around the bases of the pink trees, and you'll find lots of Glowing Fungus along the floor.
  • North Of Watoga: There's a tunnel a little north of Watoga that is lined with lots of Glowing Fungus.

If you are a low level player, then it's best to stick to locations like the river that runs through Flatwoods. Many of the other locations mentioned are in more challenging areas of the map.
