Once a new player in Fallout: London has managed to leave the lab, where the new player tutorial takes place, they will find themselves in the London Shard. This is a liminal area that acts as a transitional zone between the tutorial and the game proper.

Fallout 4 introduced player settlements to the series, bringing new ways to interact with the world. But some locations are a mistake.
There are a few useful items to be found in this zone, and one of these is a single Molotov cocktail, which is thrown like a grenade. It can be found inside the public toilets on the ground floor. Once a Fallout: London player has worked out how to leave the London Shard, they will find themselves in London Bridge Station. Just as the player enters this area, they will spot a skeleton sitting on a bench.
Leaning against the skeleton’s arm, is the cane. This is a basic melee weapon, but good enough to take out the odd roach or radshrew in a pinch. It works well until the player gets the next weapon on this list, at which time it becomes superseded.

Once a Fallout: London player has discovered a way out of London Bridge Station, they will find themselves in the Lewisham area. At the start of this zone, the player will meet a group of three NPCs, who are part of a local gang.
If the player chooses to hang with the gang, they are awarded with the Balisong, which is a cool butterfly knife that can be used as a weapon and to do tricks. It doesn’t do a lot of damage, but it has a fast attack rate, and is useful in the early part of this role-playing game.

Following the main story arc in Fallout: London, will send the player to the Thamesfolk quite early on. This faction lives in a warren of underground tunnels, which the player can explore and loot. One location that will be discovered is an old tube station, which is where the flare gun is located.
The player needs to continue along the tunnels until they come to a series of alarms that have been set up using some old cans. This guards a place that has been inhabited at some stage, and inside is a sleeping room with a bed and a bedside table. On that table is the flare gun and a few flares to use for ammo.

The first hour of Fallout: London will generally involve a player using their fists to fight off radshrews (much like radroaches). And with little in the way of healing consumables to loot, this can be a problem for some builds. But there is a 9mm pistol available quite early in the game, that many players might miss.

Once the player has found their way down to London Bridge Station, they will need to use a ticket to open the ticket gates to the platforms. However, just before these ticket gates is a derelict shop. Inside that shop is a serving counter, and below that counter is a small safe that can be picked. Inside is a 9mm pistol and a limited amount of ammo.
2 Service Rifle

The service rifle is modeled on the Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE), or as British Tommy’s called it in both World Wars, the Smelly. This rifle is available very early in the game, close to the location of the 9mm pistol in London Bridge Station.
To the right of the ticket booth in the station, is the preservation center, with a locked door that can be opened by a player with enough strength. Inside is the service rifle. It doesn’t do a lot of damage, but it is useful until better options are available.
