Fallout's popularity is only going up, even with no mainline game in nearly a decade. As a result, these kinds of fan creations will just keep coming.

Redditor MintyFresh1980 shared their incredible Fallout fan creation: a rug based on the Vault doors from the series. Interestingly, it uses Vault 89, which isn't a Vault yet seen in the Fallout video games. As for the rug itself, the details are excellent, even capturing the different shades of grey on various parts of the Vault door. All in, the creation took MintyFresh1980 "around 6-7 hours to tuft it and another 8 hours to trim and carve all the definition between the different colours," which is some truly dedicated work. The end result is totally worth it, though.

MintyFresh1980 was asked by plenty of fans in the thread whether the Fallout rug (or others like it) is for sale. According to the gamer, it costs around $270 including shipping, which makes sense given the quality and time put into its creation. It's always interesting to see the various types of gaming rugs that fans create for other franchises, so it's cool to see Fallout finally get the same treatment.

For Fallout fans, it doesn't seem like there's much to look forward to on the video game side of things for the foreseeable future. Bethesda's focus on The Elder Scrolls 6 means any new mainline game in the series will likely be some time away, but there's still some good news for fans of the franchise. There has been no shortage of leaks from the Fallout Season 2 set, indicating that, at the very least, more of the critically acclaimed TV show may not be as far away as some feared.
