Shinji can whine a bit too much for most fans' liking, and his actions in The End of Evangelion were unforgivable. However, there's more to this character than what may meet the eye of viewers, especially if they understand the context of his actions.

Sakura is not at fault for her poor representation in Naruto. That fault lies solely in the hands of Kishimoto, who was notorious for writing women poorly in the series.
