Fast travel is an important part of any game, and Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is no exception. Even though the starting areas of the game are quite small, there are huge wide-open zones like Ginormosia that are much easier to navigate with the help of fast travel. Thankfully, there is fast travel in Fantasy Life i, but it takes a while to unlock.
There are multiple types of fast travel in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, and they're all unlocked in different ways. You can teleport directly to Life Masters to make leveling up easier, you can use Skelegon to fly to different parts of town, and you can unlock towers to warp around Ginormosia. The game makes it sound much more complicated than it actually is, though, and these methods are all the same in practice.
Which Life (Job) Should You Choose First In Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
Choosing a Life is the first step players will make on the Mysterious Island in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
How to Unlock Fast Travel in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
Fast travel is unlocked by progressing through the main story of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. At the start of Chapter Three, the game will explain that you are freely able to explore the past, the present, and Ginormosia. From that point, you can select fast travel points on the map to fly there with Skelegon.
Skelegon can take you to any marked fast travel point in the past or the present, and you'll unlock new fast travel points as you discover caves and other points of interest. You can also fast travel to any towers that you have activated in Ginormosia even though they have a different icon. Fast travel doesn't have a cost, so feel free to warp around as you please.
How to Fast Travel to Life Masters
Once you complete the tutorial quest for any Life, you can fast travel directly to that Life Master for easier progression. To do so, open the Weird Pad and select the Life menu. Then, press the Square/X/Y button on PlayStation/Xbox/Switch or the C key on PC to teleport straight to a Life Master. You can also select any of the crafting Lives to instantly fast travel to the nearest workbench.
Fast travel is a huge help in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, especially when you need to report to a Life Master or quickly craft something at a workbench. It makes completing personal requests much easier, too.
