Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time update 1.1.3 is already available on PS5, PS4, and PC, while Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S players will have to wait until May 29.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a recently released life simulation role-playing game that serves as a sequel to the 2012 Nintendo 3DS title Fantasy Life. In it, players can choose from 14 "Life classes" (the equivalent of jobs), such as Paladin, Magician, Carpenter, and Angler, to explore the world of Reveria. These different classes come with various quests and skills, and players can switch between them to try out different aspects of the game. Even though the game has been well received—boasting a “Very Positive” rating on Steam—some players have been struggling with the multiplayer feature.

Level-5 rolled up its sleeves and released update 1.1.3 to start addressing some of the issues in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time's multiplayer mode. The highlight of the patch is that players can now continue progressing through missions they’ve already accepted, even while in a multiplayer session.

Players on Reddit have celebrated this change, as many were disappointed with the previous limitations. “Wanted to explore Gigornia last night with my partner, can't unlock towers, can't do the shrines,” said one frustrated player. While players see this improvement as a good sign, they’re also hoping that Level-5 will do more to let people play together in a more meaningful way—such as being able to complete towers and shrines in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time alongside friends.

In addition to multiplayer adjustments, update 1.1.3 now makes it easier to see when players have completed a Life Challenge and can report it to a Life Master—even if they are not currently using that Life class in Fantasy Life i. Moreover, players now have access to the "Instant Help" support feature, which offers assistance when they feel stuck while progressing through the game.

Last but not least, patch 1.1.3 fixes an issue where the quest marker icon—“!”—would not properly disappear, along with other minor bugs. Although players welcomed the changes, many are still waiting for future patches with similar improvements for the game’s multiplayer.
