Japanese video game developer Type-Moon has announced that Fate/stay night REMASTERED will be released in 2024. The game is a remastered version of the PS Vita title, Fate/stay night Realta Nua, and will now be leaving PlayStation and will instead launch for the Nintendo Switch and on Steam. The PS Vita title is part of the Fate/Stay Night series that first started as a visual novel game that has since inspired numerous anime, manga, and even other video games.
The Fate/Stay series is about a battle royale called the Holy Grail War, where mages called Masters and their summons, Servants, must fight to death in order to obtain the legendary item, which will grant any wish. Fate/stay night Realta Nua has three storylines or routes: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven’s Feel, with each featuring its own heroine that the player must keep alive.
