Corrupted items in FBC: Firebreak can mess up your runs by adding all sorts of modifiers to your match. These range from fairly tame to absolutely catastrophic, potentially causing a job to fail if not dealt with immediately.

Loading into an FBC: Firebreak mission with Corruption enabled will spawn Corrupted items in the level. However, the spawns are randomized, so there's no telling what cursed objects you'll get in your next job. For those who are wondering how these items can affect your gameplay, here's a list of all the Corrupted items we've found so far.

This list is a work-in-progress, and it might not contain every single Corrupted item yet. We will update this guide as we find more objects through gameplay.

Every Corrupted Item in FBC: Firebreak

Corrupted items are either mobile or stationary, and in most cases, players will want to neutralize them immediately. A purple objective marker will appear on them once you spot one, and depending on the item, it will either stay put, follow you around, or roam all over the job site. Regardless, as long as there is a Corrupted item in the active sector of your current mission, it will affect you or your enemies in weird ways. If you don't get rid of one, its effects will stay active throughout the match.

FBC: Firebreak - Corrupted Items List

Item

Effect

Table Saw

Disables Resonance Shields for the entire team. Can be devastating on higher difficulties, especially if large groups of ranged enemies spawn.

Crowbar

Sabotages machinery and mechanical devices like breaker panels and generators. Destroy immediately before attempting to repair anything, as the Crowbar may break them again.

Snare Drum

Significantly increases the speed of all enemies. This also affects attack speed, making it a nightmare to deal with when ranged or special Hiss are on the field.

Ramen Lantern

Sabotages light sources, including environmental lights and player flashlights. The lantern itself emits a faint glow, so you won't have to worry about getting stuck in pitch-black darkness.

Wolff Globe

Lowers gravity. This can actually be beneficial in areas like the furnace finale of Hot Fix.

Jasper Post Box

Slowly builds up the Cold condition on everything in the job area, including enemies. Can be extremely detrimental if the job requires the use of the Splash Kit, and it makes sprinklers hazardous.

Gas Cylinder

Corpses explode. This can be beneficial to the team, as enemies also take damage from the corpse explosions.

Stapler

Increases enemy health. Neutralize immediately.

Red Light

Regulates movement. If you're caught in the red light when it starts glowing, you will take damage until you break line of sight.

Pickaxe

Causes rumbling masses of rocks to spawn in the area. Neutralizing the Pickaxe destroys all rock masses.

Corrupted items can be neutralized by using special Black Rock Neutralizers found in Ammo Stations. The Black Rock Rounds perk can let your weapons neutralize Corrupted items too.
