Sometimes, the best build for a certain position isn't as straightforward as one might think in FC 24. Since players can play anywhere with no effect on their rating, fans can create a build that says one position but thrives in a different position.

1 Classic Attacking Midfielder

A good box-to-box midfielder needs a balanced crop of passing, dribbling, and defending stats, while also having enough pace to get up and down the pitch quickly and effectively. The best way to get balanced stats is to select LM, RM, or either wing-back positions if players want the most pace.

Players can choose to use a pure CM position on this build, however, it will have less pace in exchange for better passing and dribbling. Players should look to max out the pace skill tree and put as many remaining skill points into passing and dribbling as possible. Players can move a few skill points to defending or shooting if they wish, but the base stats for these two areas will already be usable, so that isn't majorly important for this build to thrive.

The base passing stats of a CB position are solid too, making for a fast and strong CB who can also play a pass with confidence from the back. Players could switch their weight to 200lbs, losing pace but gaining more strength, although that barely affects the quality of this build.
