Fields of Mistria developer NPC Studio has recently revealed the roadmap for the rest of the game’s early access period. Fields of Mistria is already a highly popular title, and it seems that it’s about to get even better with these next updates.

Fields of Mistria was recently released in early access on Steam, and it quickly became a hit with fans of the farming sim genre. Despite still being in development, Fields of Mistria achieved Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on the platform, with 98% of gamers liking it. Set in the idyllic village of Mistria, the farming sim allows gamers to take care of their farms, craft items, and raise animals, all while exploring a magical world, getting to know the villagers, and even romancing some of them.

Now, Fields of Mistria is about to get even better, as NPC Studio has revealed that the game will have a major update on November 18, and shared a roadmap of the features coming later. During the first major update in Fields of Mistria, the NPC Heart Progression cap will be increased from four to six hearts, and more dialogue will be introduced to romanceable characters. Mines and dungeons will also get more enemies and cosmetics drops, the town of Mistria will get a new festival, and its Renown level cap will be raised. The cozy early access game will also have Skill caps increased from level 30 to 45, and more perks will be unlockable by the main character.

The roadmap also details update plans that span beyond November. For instance, all romanceable NPCs will have their Heart Progression cap increased to 10 hearts before the end of early access, and marriage and children will finally be available. Mines and dungeons will gain additional biomes, as well as dungeon questline events, and the Renown level of the city will increase even more, accompanied by more rewards. Continuing the trends of the upcoming November update, Fields of Mistria will continue to raise the Skill level cap, and add even more perks and cosmetics. Also, the game will get Steam achievements.

Unfortunately, the roadmap does not disclose when all the changes will be implemented. Hopefully, Fields of Mistria will leave early access sometime during 2025, though. Until then, players have several interesting activities to do in Fields of Mistria, such as fishing for resources, exploring the game’s dungeons, catching insects, digging for treasures, and much more.
