Fields of Mistria: Shooting Star Festival Guide
Those unsure about what they need to do during the Shooting Star Festival in Fields of Mistria can find the answers they need in this guide.
This Fields of Mistria Harvest Festival guide details the best locations to find Queen Berries if you're determined to win the competition's various rewards. It also outlines everything you can do on the day to join in with the celebrations and commemorate the event.
How to Start the Harvest Festival
While Fields of Mistia's Harvest Festival takes place on day 10 of Fall, preparations for the event actually begin on day 7of Fall when exiting your home. When leaving your home, a short cutscene with Reina triggers. Reina tells you the Harvest Festival is coming up and asks for your help collecting Queen Berries before the event begins.
There are also prizes to win for whoever collects the most Queen Berries over the next few days (and a special Mistrian Berry that only appears just before the Harvest Festival), including prizes for first, second, and third place. It's time to get collecting!
The Harvest Festival also shows up as a story quest in the quest menu, where you can also see how many Queen Berries you've gathered, or by checking your inventory. If you want to try the Harvest Festival but have a long time to wait until fall starts in your current game year, you could also load a previous save file that's near or on day 7 of Fall if you have one.
Where to Find Queen Berries in Fields of Mistria (Best Queen Berry Farming Locations)
Finding Queen Berries in Fields of Mistria works similarly to finding Breath of Spring in the Spring Festival, which appears as a possible spawn drop from completing certain activities. Although it's possible to find Queen Berries by doing everyday activities like chopping down trees and harvesting forageables like Cattail Fluff, the best place to find and farm Queen Berries is in the Mines.
As shown in the video below, you can find numerous Queen Berries by mining rocks on the top floors of the Mines, where you also don't need to travel far to find plenty of them:
Harvest Festival Competition and Rewards
On day 10 of Fall, when the Harvest Festival begins, Reina shows up at your home again to collect any Queen Berries you've gathered.
After another scene with Reina, you can head to the town square to take part in the Harvest Festival, which is adorned with fall-themed decorations and bunting.
Make sure you've collected at least some Queen Berries before day 10 if you want to see the event, as it seems if you don't collect any, it's possible that the festival itself may not start after speaking with Reina.
On entering the town square, the Queen Berry Competition begins. If you've gathered enough Queen Berries, you can win a prize, with around 25 Queen Berries required for third place and the Harvest Festival Centerpiece reward worth 500 Tesserae.

Here's how and when you can start the Animal Festival in Fields of Mistria and what you can do on the day of the event.
How to Ask Someone to Dance at the Fields of Mistia Harvest Festival
Another thing you can do at the Harvest Festival is to ask one of Fields of Mistria's bachelors or bachelorettes to dance. If you talk to the town NPCs at the festival, an option appears next to those eligible to dance that says 'Ask to Dance.' Elsie may also ask if you are going to ask someone to dance. Selecting the option to dance then triggers an adorable and unmissable dance scene with your chosen NPC.
