Snowdrop Anemone is one of many flowers you can forage in Fields of Mistria, but you'll want to hang onto one for a sidequest.
While it's possible to stumble across a Shadow Flower before unlocking Celine's quest, there are also more uses for Shadow Flower, including as you progress further into Fields of Mistria's story and one particular map area, making it a handy flower to know how to find. Celine's Request for a Shadow quest also typically appears during the summer and is worth completing for a sizeable reward.
Where To Find Shadow Flower In Fields Of Mistria (Shadow Flower Location)
To get right to it, you can find Shadow Flower in the Upper Mines, so you'll need to unlock the Mines in Fields of Mistria first if you haven't done so already. Shadow Flower is a purple flower that appears all year round but only grows in the dark, making the Mines the perfect place to find it. However, the precise location of Shadow Flower is trickier to pinpoint, as it can spawn anywhere typically in the Upper Mines, which include floors 0-19, such as on floor 6 as pictured above. This means you won't necessarily need to progress too far in the Mines to grab one, and you can find them growing on the ground, so you shouldn't need to break rocks to find them.
Of course, as you discover more of the Mines and locate the Tide Caverns, you can give Shadow Flower as a gift to one particular Fields of Mistria character who loves Shadow Flower in the game's unfolding story. What To Do With Shadow Flower In Fields Of Mistria
Once you pick up a Shadow Flower, you can return to Celine to turn in her Request for a Shadow Flower quest to receive a whopping 300 Tesserae as a reward. As mentioned, you can also gift Shadow Flower to some of Fields of Mistria's characters as a unique gift, including Juniper and Louis, who both like Shadow Flower, so it's worth picking them up and storing them for later use.
Alternatively, you can also sell Shadow Flower in your shipping bin for 50 Tessarae each or donate it to the Museum as part of the Upper Mines Museum Set.
When searching the Mines, it's also possible to find other sometimes hard-to-come-by resources, such as Upper Mines Mushrooms, plus Peat and Sod. Therefore, it's best to make sure you've got plenty of backpack space when exploring the Mines.
