Square Enix has just released the benchmark trailer for Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail, and it's safe to say that the game is looking even better than ever. Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail is the long-running MMORPG's upcoming fifth expansion, and its first to be set in the game's world following its major Hydaelyn story arc. The previous overarching story spanned its first 11 years of existence, and its story content after the ending of its Endwalker expansion set the table for a brand-new arc. Dawntrail is set to release on July 2024, two and a half years after Endwalker, the longest interval between the game's expansions yet.
The benchmark trailer shows off Final Fantasy 14's in-game footage, which sees graphics settings turned all the way to the maximum, showing off its smooth and satisfying 60fps capabilities.
