The iconic director affectionately known as "Yoshi-P" has become a fan-favorite among Final Fantasy fans, most known for his work on Final Fantasy 14. Yoshida is cited as a major factor behind the boom and success of Final Fantasy 14, and would later go on to serve as producer for Final Fantasy 16. Now, Yoshi-P is sharing his personal dream crossovers for Final Fantasy 14.
Final Fantasy 14 is no stranger to collaboration with a plethora of content being brought to the game, both from Square-Enix and beyond. Final Fantasy 14 has featured plenty of its own franchises like Nier and Dragon Quest as crossover content in Final Fantasy 14, alongside more unusual collaborations like Fall Guys. Square-Enix even revealed an upcoming collaboration earlier this month at Gamescom, with a Monster Hunter Wilds crossover set to arrive to Final Fantasy 14 in October. However, Square-Enix's Yoshi-P has plenty more crossovers he would like to see.

Final Fantasy 14's Yoshi-P Shares His Dream Collabs
As reported by GamesRadar, Yoshi-P shared some of his most-wanted collaborations for Final Fantasy 14 during a recent interview. Yoshi-P mentioned several anime franchises he wishes to see come to Final Fantasy 14, including One Piece, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Gundam. The director also mentioned a particular game he would be interested in bringing to Final Fantasy 14, suggesting that one of his biggest wishes would be a Diablo collaboration. The interview was not Yoshi-P's first mention of a Diablo crossover, previously expressing his desire to team up with Blizzard.
Yoshi-P's desire to bring a Diablo crossover to Final Fantasy 14 comes as the director has never been shy about expressing his adoration for his competitors' works. Yoshi-P recently spoke highly of Nintendo's Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, with the Final Fantasy director praising Echoes of Wisdom's re-use of existing assets in new ways. Yoshi-P has been an outspoken face for Final Fantasy 14 throughout much of the MMORPG's life, often speaking directly to fans about new changes and updates coming to the game.
Final Fantasy 14 recently kicked off the most recent edition of the game's anniversary celebrations, gifting players with some special free rewards. Final Fantasy 14's newest "The Rising" event for this year features a short series of quests for players to tackle, granting a "Wind-Up Gulool Ja Ja" minion for completing the quests. The recent 7.3 patch also introduced three new Mounts earlier this month, alongside eight new Minions available as rewards for PvP, drops from enemies, and more. Final Fantasy 14 players should have plenty to do to celebrate A Realm Reborn's twelfth anniversary.
