Final Fantasy 14's collaborations often add cool minions and mounts to the game. While some are permanent additions and can still be unlocked, like the Rathalos mount, others can only be obtained for a limited time. Some events can even require players to take a few steps outside the acclaimed MMO, like buying certain items from partner brands.

That is the case with FF14's collaboration with Gong cha, a beverage franchise specializing in premium tea, bubble tea, and coffee. Announced in the 82nd Producer Live Letter, this campaign will give players in North America, Europe, and Oceania the chance to unlock the Porxie King mount. Here is how you can get this exclusive mount in Final Fantasy 14.

How to Get The Porxie King In FF14

The Porxie King mount was originally available exclusively in Japan. It could be obtained through a collaboration between Square Enix's MMO and the convenience store chain LAWSON, which happened in 2021. Now, a few years later, players in other parts of the world will finally have a chance at acquiring this mount.

As explained, the Porxie King mount will be a reward during a collaborative campaign between FF14 and Gong cha. The event will last for a limited time only, starting on 17 July and ending on 28 August. On top of in-game rewards, the campaign will include special cups and drinks for players to try in Gong cha stores. Players will have to spend some money, but the requirement to get the mount is very simple: buy three drinks in a single transaction.

Although special Final Fantasy- themed drinks will be available, such as the ones shown above, it should be noted it is not required to buy items from the event menu. According to what was shared in the Producer Live Letter, any three drinks will do, as long as they're bought in a single transaction. Buying three drinks in separate orders will not count toward getting the Porxie King mount. Upon fulfilling the requirements, you should receive a code that can be redeemed for the mount.

How To Redeem The Gong Cha Porxie King Code

Once you receive the code, a few more steps will be necessary to acquire the mount, but the process is very simple. Log into Final Fantasy 14's Mogstation website, then go to the Registration Codes section and click "Enter Item Code". Type the code you received and click "next" to proceed and redeem your reward.

Do note that the item won't be in your inventory, and the mount won't automatically show up in your collection. When you log into the game, you'll have to interact with a Delivery Moogle to get your reward. Don't worry if you can't find it immediately after entering the code! It can take some time depending on how busy the servers are, so you might have to wait a few hours to finally have your Porxie King.
