How To Farm Ttokrrone Scales
Farming Ttokrrone Scales is a time-consuming endeavor, because The Serpent Lord Seethes is a rare FATE spawn at the end of a five-part-long FATE chain. Located in Shaaloani in a remote area (22.6, 5.1), this FATE requires that players are level 100 with flight unlocked to participate.
The FATES in the chain are as follows:
- The Serpentlord Stirs (24, 31),
- The Serpentlord Speaks (29, 17),
- The Serpentlord Sires (21, 8),
- The Serpentlord Suffers (21, 8).
- The Serpentlord Seethes (22.6, 5.1)
Each successful completion of the Serpentlord Seethes FATE will yield between three and six Ttokrrone Scales, meaning players will need to finish the FATE at least twice.
Maximizing The Chance of Receiving Six Scales
To maximize the chances of receiving the full six scales, players should attempt to be in a full party of eight players. Players who are in a full party with a balanced composition (two tanks, two healers, and four DPS) are more likely to receive the full six scales because participation in FATES is based on Emnity generation of the whole party, so Tank Stances and AoE healing are very effective.
How To Tell When The Serpent Lord Seethes FATE Will Spawn
The Serpent Lord Seethes can spawn a maximum of once every 24 hours per instance, but may not spawn at the end of every FATE chain. This means that the FATE chain should be completed as many times as possible during the open spawn window. To track spawn windows, players can use third party apps such as Faloop.
While spawns of this FATE are frequently called out in the Novice Network Global Chat, or the Open World Shout Chat, relying on this can be risky and result in the FATE being completed before you arrive.
Tips For Fighting Ttokrrone
Ttokrrone is a level 100 World Boss, and fighting him is designed to be a large-scale group activity. As a result, it is advised to bring a full party to any spawns, with some players on a job with the Revive ability. Additionally, players can set their home Aetheryte to one in the region, as this will allow them to quickly rejoin in the event of death.
