On Halloween, Final Fantasy 14 will host the 89th episode of Letter From The Producer LIVE, which will focus on Patch 7.4 and its key features. Along with new main story quests, Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.4 will be headlined by the final tier of the Arcadion raid series and various quality-of-life changes and features.
Final Fantasy 14's next Live Letter will happen as players take part in All Saints' Wake, a limited-time event inspired by Halloween. The 2025 version of All Saints' Wake is now available for players to participate in until November 4, with two quests that start in the forest city of Gridania. These quests require players to reach level 15 or higher. This year's new rewards include the Ambulario mount and a Feastful All Saints' Wake Advertisement poster. Players who missed out on previous All Saints' Wake iterations can also purchase past rewards from the Final Fantasy 14 Online Store while the event lasts.

Final Fantasy 14 To Host Halloween Live Letter for Patch 7.4
Along with the Halloween festivities, Final Fantasy 14 will share some new information regarding the game's immediate future. Final Fantasy 14 producer and director Naoki Yoshida will host Letter From The Producer LIVE Part 89 on Friday, October 31, at 7:00 AM Eastern. Yoshida will discuss what players can expect in Final Fantasy 14's 7.4 update, as the patch's name and release window will likely be revealed early in the broadcast. Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.4 will also mark the finale of Dawntrail' s Arcadion raid series. However, it is unclear if the Normal and Savage versions of the AAC Heavyweight Tier will have separate launch dates or happen simultaneously. Final Fantasy 14's 7.4 update will also have new main story quests that should set the tone for the game's next expansion.
Based on past timings of Live Letter broadcasts, Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.4 is expected to launch between mid-December and early January. Along with the new story and raid tier, other features, such as the Strategy Board and a long-awaited player housing upgrade, may also be discussed during the broadcast. The housing upgrades would both increase the number of furnishings players can put inside their virtual homes and allow players to change the interior's size. For example, a small house could have the interior of a large mansion and retain the same exterior appearance.
However, features like the Beastmaster and the next Ultimate Raid are unlikely to appear in Patch 7.4. All in all, Final Fantasy 14 players looking for more news about the game's future should keep Halloween in mind.
