Square Enix confirmed the annual Make It Rain Campaign will return to Final Fantasy 14 soon, with a new "Overreact" emote as the main prize for players to collect. The annual Final Fantasy 14 campaign will also give players a few weeks to earn extra Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP) that can be redeemed for expensive mounts and other cosmetic rewards.
The Make It Rain Campaign will take players to the Manderville Gold Saucer, located in the deserts of Southern Thanalan. The Gold Saucer is directly inspired by the Final Fantasy 7 theme park of the same name, with its theme song "Four-sided Circle" being a musical homage. According to Final Fantasy 14's lore, Godbert Manderville of the Ul'dah Syndicate created the Gold Saucer as a recreational attraction. Here, the destitute citizens of Ul'dah can find employment, and travelers can experience whimsical games and activities. After completing the level 15 quest "It Could Happen to You" in Ul'dah, players can travel to and from the Manderville Gold Saucer as they see fit.
How Final Fantasy 14's Arcadion Boss Howling Blade is Explained by His Theme Song
Jason Charles Miller, singer of Howling Blade's theme 'Unleashed,' explains how his music connects to Final Fantasy 14's world.
After offering the Imp Attire as the main reward of last year's event, the annual Make It Rain Campaign will return with new rewards for Final Fantasy 14 players to obtain. According to Square Enix, the 2025 edition of the Make It Rain Campaign starts Monday, May 19, at 4:00 AM Eastern and ends Wednesday, June 11, at 9:59 AM Eastern. This year's campaign quest begins in Ul'dah, as players can speak to an Ebullient Citizen outside the city's Aetheryte Plaza and accept the level 15 quest "Royal Rumblings" after unlocking the Gold Saucer and completing one of three Envoy quests from Final Fantasy 14's main story. The new rewards from this year's event are the Overreact emote and the King Elmer III Triple Triad Card.
