The number of events in Final Fantasy 14 has really increased ahead of the new Dawntrail Expansion. Whether this is to entice new players or break up the monotony among veterans preparing for the expansion is difficult to say. However, players rarely turn down the opportunity to collect new glamor pieces and minions. It is no surprise that the return of the Dragon Quest 10 Crossover Event has led to a surge of players.
Unlike the recent Yokai event, this one has very specific FATEs for farm quest items, and some players are frustrated. Keep reading for advice on how to begin the Breaking Brick Mountains Questline, every reward you can get in this event, and how to pin down those tricky FATE spawns.

There is one more cosmetic available for the duration of this event, and players can only receive it by speaking to a limited-time vendor. This vendor is named Toughie and can be found in the Ul'dah - Steps of Nald zone at (X:8.2, Y:12.2).
