Final Fantasy 14's 2024 spring festivities offer a unique chance to take part in the Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-tide events simultaneously. This overlap allows for a combined in-game celebration with a quest series centered around assisting a nervous goobbue and helping her put on a spectacular performance.
By completing these quests, you can unlock a unique and beautiful goobbue mount. Here’s how you can add the Peatie mount to your collection in Final Fantasy 14.
Final Fantasy 14: How to Get the Corgi Minion
Final Fantasy 14 players can now get an adorable Corgi minion to accompany them on their quests, but it will take quite a bit of dedication to unlock.
Where to Start 2024 Little Ladies’ Day & Hatching-tide Quests
To begin this year's seasonal quests in Final Fantasy 14, head over to Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre in Old Gridania. You'll notice the area is adorned with various colored egg decorations for the occasion.
Once there, look for Jihli Aliapoh, who can be found at (X:10.2, Y:9.4). She's hard to miss, wearing an egg on her head and obviously full of enthusiasm for the event. Jihli will share with you how the two celebrations have merged due to a dream she had about a beautiful pink Goobbue.
The Princesses and the Eggs Quest Walkthrough
You learn that Jihli Aliapoh has already brought the Goobbue from her dreams into the event's festivities without consulting the other event organizers. Despite this, the lalafell in charge of Little Ladies’ Day, the Royal Seneschal, expresses doubts about including the Goobbue in the celebrations.
He's concerned about the safety of the participants and tasks you with investigating these concerns. Your next step is to head to Bentbranch Meadows in the Central Shroud, where you'll meet Aldemund and Peatie.
When you arrive at Bentbranch Meadows, look for Aldemund, who is easy to spot standing beside a large pink Goobbue. Aldemund will share that his Goobbue, named Peatie, is dealing with stage fright and is apprehensive about performing in front of a crowd. Eager for assistance, he suggests a method to help Peatie overcome her nervousness.

Learn a helpful healing spell by hunting down these slippery spined spawns in Final Fantasy XIV.
Aldemund asks you to ride Peatie and approach specific NPCs within Gridania. Your task is to bolster Peatie’s confidence by using her "Egg Surprise" ability to delight the onlookers. You'll find the three NPCs Peatie needs to perform for at the following locations:
- Enthused Man (X:22.1, Y:22.7)
- Curious Lass (X:21.8, Y:21.9)
- Chocobokeep (X:20.6, Y:21.7)
After showcasing Peatie's beautiful ability to all the designated revelers, return to Aldemund at (X:22.4, Y:23.1) to conclude the quest. Peatie's performances have proven to the Royal Seneschal that including the goobbue in the festivities is safe and will definitely make the event more fun for everyone. The Royal Seneschal then asks you to meet him in Ul’dah to prepare for Peatie’s performance.
Peatie in Pink Quest Walkthrough
The next step of the quest series takes you to Final Fantasy 14's city of Ul’dah, the stage for Peatie’s big performance. Speak with the Royal Seneschal, found at (X:10.5, Y:8.7), to start the "Peatie in Pink" quest. He asks you to do something similar to what you did in Gridania: spread the word about the upcoming show.
The Royal Seneschal asks you to go to the Steps of Thal and talk to the city's residents, assuring them that the event is a must-see and that the Goobbue won’t cause any problems. You’ll need to find and speak with these three NPCs:
- Distracted Citizen (X:13.7, Y:9.7)
- Elegant Citizen (X:14.2, Y:11.0)
- Nonchalant Citizen (X:11.2, Y:11.4)
Final Fantasy 14: How to Farm Jhinga
Learn everything there is to know about farming Jhinga in Final Fantasy 14.
After persuading all three citizens, head back to the Royal Seneschal at (X:10.7, Y:8.3), who is now standing near a stage that has been set up for Peatie's performance at the Steps of Nald. Aldemund will let you know that Peatie's nervousness has returned. He needs your help to reassure her that she's going to be fantastic in front of the audience. You can pick any dialogue option to comfort Peatie.
As the crowd gathers, your job is to boost Peatie's confidence by cheering her on before the performance starts. Do this by using the /rally emote. Then, make your way to the Destination marker in front of the stage to enjoy her show.
After the performance wraps up, have a chat with the Royal Seneschal. He'll thank you by giving you the Peatie Horn, which unlocks the "She's Goobbue and She's Grace" achievement and lets you call on Peatie as a mount anytime you'd like.
