In the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, players once again play through Cloud Strife's epic journey to save the world. On the way, they will encounter many events faithful to the original game in modern graphics. One of these memorable scenes is rather infamous in nature as Cloud dresses up for a night on the town and fans will be glad to hear it returns in all its glory.

In Chapter 9: The Town That Never Sleeps, the group needs to find a way to get to Don Corneo, the crimelord in Wall Market, and interrogate him about the Shinra Company's next move. Tifa has already gone on ahead, but Cloud and Aerith still need some time to gather information and secure access to Corneo's mansion. After finding out Corneo is holding auditions for his next bride, Cloud ends up donning different styles depending on what choices the player made earlier in Chapter 9.

Side Quest Choices

While waiting for Aerith to get ready, Cloud will unlock a series of side quests that need to be completed based on Cloud's interactions. Regardless of choice, completing these quests will reward the same Final Fantasy 7 Remake items: the Arcane Scepter weapon for Aerith and Cloud's dress. Some player choices will have no effect on either side, but there are a few certain choices that will skew the side quests towards either Chocobo Sam or Madam M.

Chocobo Sam (The Party Never Stops and A Dynamite Body)

  1. Choose either "Heads" or "Tails" during Sam's coin toss.
  2. Receive the "Poor Man's" Massage Course from Madam M.
  3. Say "It's alright" or "Looks comfortable" when asked about Aerith's dress.
  4. Do not do the Vagabond Johnny discovery side quest.

Madam M (The Price of Thievery and Shear's Counterattack)

  1. Choose "No deal" during Sam's coin toss.
  2. Receive the "Luxury" Massage Course from Madam M.
  3. Say "It matter what I think?" Or "Looks comfortable" when asked about Aerith's dress.
  4. Complete the Vagabond Johnny discovery side quest.

Cloud's Dresses

Completing or choosing not to finish the side quests will affect the dress Cloud gets put in.

  1. Black Dress: Complete a Chapter 9 side quest but do not finish either set.
  2. Blue and black dress with a flower hairpiece: Complete Chocobo Sam's side quests.
  3. White and purple dress with a tiara: Complete Madam M's side quests.

Players can then head to Don Corneo's mansion to finish up the chapter. Afterwards, they can continue on with the story, but should return after finishing Final Fantasy 7 Remake with chapter select to see the rest of Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa's dresses for the "Dressed to the Nines" trophy.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is now available for the PlayStation 4.
