Final Fantasy is one of the most well-known and celebrated video game franchises of all time, with the series churning out several unique and beloved titles that have become a staple of gaming history since time immemorial. Players love the amazing memories they have with the many titles in this series, with each game featuring something special and unique that fans enjoy greatly to this day.
Even the spinoffs in this franchise have been quite successful in their own right, with Final Fantasy Type-0 being one such title that is an absolute blast to play through from start to end. The game features a massive cast of characters, all of whom can be equipped with the latest gear to make them competent in combat.
10 Iceblade Hilt
There are several unique accessories that players can find in the world of Final Fantasy Type-0. One of them can be purchased if players go to Iscah at night.
The Iceblade Hilt is a powerful accessory that increases maximum MP, the power of ice magic, and the resistance to this element as well. Along with this, it also marginally increases almost every other resistance except for lightning, which players have to manage themselves.
9 Genji Helm
The weather plays a big role in Final Fantasy Type-0, and players have to keep the weather in mind while engaging in combat. Weather affects the effectiveness of most elements and damage types, with extreme weather also reducing the player's HP as well!
Players who don't want to deal with any debilitating effects should equip accessories with the Weatherproof status, such as the Genji Helm. This iconic helm is pretty useful in its own right and has a Status Ward to benefit players even more!
8 Genji Armor
Another iconic piece of equipment from the Final Fantasy series is the Genji Armor. It helps out players quite a bit when it comes to reducing damage across all fronts.
Not only does this accessory buff defense by +50, but it also reduces all incoming damage by 40%. It's a perfect accessory for weaker party members or the ones who love to jump into the action without any care for themselves.
7 Akatoki Amethyst
Characters who specialize in casting magic will be well-serviced by the Akatoki Amethyst. It enhances all types of magic by +100, allowing players to dish out crazy levels of damage with their spells.
On top of this, the Akatoki Amethyst also has Auto-Quick, bestowing a status effect that halves the time required to cast spells. Suffice it to say, players with this accessory will love playing as a mage and decimating their enemies in record time!
6 Super Ribbon
The Ribbon is one of the most iconic accessories in Final Fantasy, giving players immunity from all negative status effects in almost all games. Type-0 has this accessory, too, along with an upgraded version of the same that goes a step further!
Not only does the Super Ribbon prevent all status effects, but it also protects against Killsight and Death, pretty much preventing any Instant Death attacks from affecting the player. It's a pretty great accessory for players to have, although acquiring it can pose a major challenge.
5 Grand Mage's Badge
The Grand Mage's Badge is one of the best accessories for spellcasters to have. Given how fragile magic users are in this game, the 40% damage resistance afforded by this badge is bound to be quite useful.
On top of this, the Grand Mage's Badge also has the Auto-Freecast buff, which is extremely useful. It pretty much negates the MP cost of most spells, meaning that players can go all out with their magic in the game!
4 Juggernaut Badge
The Juggernaut Badge is one of the most powerful accessories in the game, and it's easy to see why it's a reward for beating a powerful superboss. It increases both the HP and MP of a player by 120%, which is incredibly useful for obvious reasons.
On top of this, the Juggernaut Badge also reduces incoming damage by 40%, meaning that any character with this accessory will be an absolute unit in battle. It can be hard to get, but acquiring the Juggernaut Badge is well worth this grueling endeavor of beating Nox Suzaku or climbing the Tower of Agito.
3 Mog's Lucky Charm
Most players know about the Growth Egg, an accessory that doubles the experience growth of most party members. However, there's another accessory that actually quadruples EXP gain!
This accessory is called Mog's Lucky Charm and can be obtained for completing the trial Expelling the Empire in Finis difficulty. Aside from this, it's also one of the treasures obtained in the Tower of Agito.
2 SP Crystal
The SP Rank is a unique mechanic that players should definitely try and level up as much as possible. The highest SP Rank is Emperor, and the benefits achieved from the same are nothing short of astronomical.
The accessory players get upon achieving this game is the SP Crystal, a piece of equipment that turns its wearer into one of the strongest characters in the game. It increases magic damage by +60, enhances both HP & MP by 50%, and bestows Auto versions of Protect, Regen, Aura, Trance, and Freecast.
1 Lilith Rod
The Lilith Rod is a great piece of equipment for mages to have in Final Fantasy Type-0. It enhances magic by +30, which makes casting spells all the more viable against tougher enemies.
On top of this, the Lilith Rod also doubles MP, meaning that players don't have to worry about their MP running out. This accessory can be bought from the SPP Post after completing the trial A Charge on the Border on Agito difficulty.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox
