Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater features a wide array of tools in Snake's arsenal that must be used while infiltrating bases and spotting enemies. One of the most important tools to have in the field is the Thermal Goggles, which allow Snake to identify heat signatures of living beings. It's extremely helpful in highlighting all enemies and hostile animals around Snake. Here's where you can get your hands on the Thermal Goggles in MGSD: Snake Eater.
How to Get Major Raikov's Uniform in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater
Players are going to want to know how to easily take down Major Raikov to avoid detection and get his disguise in MGS Delta Snake Eater.
Thermal Goggles Location in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Keen-eyed players who explore every nook and cranny of areas will find Thermal Goggles quite early on in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Players can find the goggles as early as the prologue, while the other locations can be accessed afterward. So, there's no real way to miss these, unless you're quite far ahead in the story and can't bother backtracking.
Thermal Goggles in Dremuchij North
At the start, Snake will halo jump into the jungles of Tselinoyarsk in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, marking the beginning of the prologue. After retrieving the bag pack off a tree branch, make your way to the next area, and through the alligator-infested swamp into the Dremuchij North area.
There are some enemies patrolling the area. So, make sure to quietly (lethally, or non-lethally) take them out and keep following the curving forest path. There will be a pathway to the next area on the left that you'll pass by. Keep following the path to the right until you spot another enemy next to a hollow tree log.
Use the prone action to crawl into the hollow tree log and grab the Thermal Goggles inside.
Thermal Goggles in Rassvet
If you've completed the prologue and are wondering how to get the Thermal Goggles in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, there's another way. After the prologue, Snake will be re-deployed into the jungle, and commence Mission Snake Eater. After completing the cutscene at the start, you'll make your way to where Sokolov was held captive, at Rassvet quarters.
Inside the unit, you can open one of the cupboards on the left to get the Thermal Goggles in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
