Fire Emblem Heroes is a mobile gacha game with a strong emphasis on tactical and strategic planning when tackling different end-game challenges. With a plethora of Fire Emblem franchise characters available, players must assemble a variety of teams to match the ever-changing battlefield to succeed.

One aspect that players must plan for in Fire Emblem Heroes is the weekly rotating Seasonal boosts available for their Heroes. To make use of these boosts, players need to use the Confer Blessing feature in tandem with Legendary and Mythic Heroes. This guide will explain what Confer Blessing is and how to use it.

The Fire Emblem series has had numerous amounts of DLC in recent years. Each adds some characters to the game, but how well are they integrated?

What is Confer Blessing?

fire_emblem_heroes_blessings

Confer Blessing lets players give regular Heroes elemental Blessings, enabling them to receive effects from Legendary and Mythic Heroes during combat. Unlike Dragonflowers, some of these effects require specific conditions in order to activate.

There are eight types of elemental Blessings, with four from Legendary Heroes and four from Mythic Heroes. Legendary Blessing effects work in any game mode, while Mythic Blessing effects are exclusive to Aether Raids (AR).

How to Use Confer Blessing

Confer Blessing can be accessed through the Ally Growth section under the Allies tab. Players can Confer Blessing by using a Blessing item on a non-Legendary and non-Mythic Hero. Blessing items can be obtained in a few different ways:

  • Each time players receive a copy of a Legendary or Mythic Hero, they will receive a Blessing item for their corresponding element.
  • Rewards from various game modes, such as Allegiance Battles, Aether Raids, Events, Special Maps, and Blessed Gardens.

If players wish to swap the elemental Blessing on a Hero, they will need to consume another Blessing item to replace the existing one.

What Does Confer Blessing Do?

All blessed Heroes receive two main effects. The first is an unconditional double EXP and Skill Point (SP) buff for all battles. The second is a stat boost that only activates during the corresponding elemental Season, which also requires having a Legendary or Mythic Hero of the same element on the team.

Both Legendary and Mythic Blessings provide an HP boost along with a second stat that varies depending on the Hero. For example, during a Water Season, Vallite Songstress Azura (Water) provides HP+3 and Res+4 to teammates with Water Blessings. The stat boosts remain in effect even if the Legendary or Mythic Hero falls during combat.

The stat effects that blessed Heroes receive can stack if there are multiple in-season Legendary or Mythic Heroes on the team.

The Season resets every Tuesday, and each one has two Legendary elements and two Mythic elements that correspond to it. While there can be any two combinations of Legendary elements, Mythic elements will always alternate between the paired Seasons of Light and Dark, and Astra and Anima. Players can check the top left corner, next to their stamina, for the current Season's elements.

In addition to the stat boosts, Mythic Heroes also provide an additional effect in Aether Raids when played alongside units with their respective Blessing. Light and Astra blessed units will increase Aetheric Lift earned after successful attacks, while Dark and Anima blessed units will decrease Aetheric Lift lost after failed defenses.

Chaos Season is a re-occurring event in Aether Raids that disables Legendary and Mythic Blessings and effects.
