Fire Emblem Heroes throws many stats and currencies at the player at once, which can confuse some newbies about what SP does. (All other stats seem to have a clear impact on a Hero’s performance except for this one.) The following guide explains what SP stands for, what it does for your crew, and how you can farm it using basic methods. You are guaranteed to double your SP gains with these methods, regardless of your team’s level.
Fire Emblem Heroes: How to Get Divine Dew
Divine Dews are an essential end-game ascension material in Fire Emblem Heroes; here’s how to farm them.
Of course, you must progress through the main campaign a bit to unlock the SP-farm-friendly game mode (i.e., Chain Challenge). However, since this mode unlocks early in the game, even the most beginner players can use it to obtain extra Skill Points.
Skill Point (SP) Explained
Skill Points are a type of currency in Fire Emblem Heroes that allows your characters to acquire new abilities. Once you accumulate enough SP, you can visit the “Learn Skills” sections under each Hero’s card to purchase these abilities. (You can later change the Skill arrangement under the “Change Skills” tab in the same menu.)
SP is not shared among all characters. You must earn each Hero’s specific Skill Points to be able to buy their moves.
How to Farm SP in Fire Emblem Heroes
The best method for farming SP in Fire Emblem Heroes is repeatedly beating the Chain Challenge quests in the Multi-Map Battles. To make this method work, recruit the unit(s) you want to earn SP for and then complete all Chain Challenge missions except for the last one.
Follow these steps to maximize SP gain:
1. Create Your Team: Assemble a team of Heroes that you want to earn SP for.
2. Select Chain Challenge: Go to the Multi-Map Battles menu in the Story section and choose “Chain Challenge.”
3. Choose Difficulty: Set the challenge level to normal or hard.
4. Complete All but the Last Stage: Beat all stages except for the last one.
5. Surrender: Once you reach the final stage, pause the game and select “Surrender.” You will retain all earned Skill Points while being able to repeat the process as many times as you desire.
Standard Methods for Gaining More Skill Points
You earn SP passively as you level up Heroes and kill enemies. Other orthodox methods of earning Skill Points include matching the Hero’s Tier 3 Volar Skill with their weapon for a boosted SP earn, farming SP during special events, and merging Allies. It’s also recommended to give your Heroes a Blessing to double the SP they accumulate in battle.
