The upcoming third season of Fire Force released a brand-new trailer which previews the third season's opening, as well as a new key visual. The news was announced as part of Crunchyroll's industry panel at Anime Expo 2024. Fire Force season 3 will air in two parts, the first of which will premiere in April 2025 and the second in January 2026.
This third season will conclude the anime adaptation of Atsushi Ōkubo's manga, and as such, the trailer included a few Easter Eggs the significance of which only those who have read the manga will recognize.

About Fire Force
This third season, dubbed "grand finale" of the Fire Force anime, and with the split-cours season, it can be expected that David Production (Undead Unluck) will go out adapting what is perhaps the most unbelievable developments, and the series' end game, which was teased a few times in the trailer. The Fire Force anime is an adaptation of Atsushi Ōkubo's manga, which ran for 34 volumes in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from September 2015 to February 2022. The first two seasons of the anime were produced by David Production, with the first running for 24 episodes from July to December 2019, followed by the second season, which also ran for 24 episodes from July to December 2020.
The first season of Fire Force was directed by Yuki Yase (episode director, Monogatari Series: Second), with scripts by Gakuto Haijima. The second season was directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa; who was also responsible for series composition, with scripts by Ken'ichirō Yano for 12 episodes, and Yoriko Tomita for 12 episodes. Hideyuki Morioka served as character designer for both seasons, while Kenichiro Suehiro did the music. Cast members include Gakuto Kajiwara (Tadano Hitohito, Komi Can't Communicate) as Shinra Kusakabe; Aoi Yūki (Tanya Degurechaff, Saga of Tanya the Evil) as Tamaki Kotatsu; Yūsuke Kobayashi (Senku Ishigami, Dr. Stone) as Arthur Boyle; M.A.O (Shion, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime) as Iris; Saeko Kamijō (Haruka Kamijō, Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens) as Maki Oze; Lynn (Lilia, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as Princess Hibana and Maaya Sakamoto (Motoko Kusanagi, Ghost in the Shell) as Sho Kusakabe.
Fire Force season 3 premieres in April 2025, with the second part coming January 2026.
