Fire Force Season 3 Will Be Split Into Two Parts
A new key visual and upcoming trailer confirm the third season of Fire Force will be split into two cours.
Infernals added great value to the plot of the now-completed Fire Force manga series. Among them are powerful antagonists who mirror the protagonists’ abilities. They have proven to be some of the toughest opponents for the Special Fire Force, whose mission is to investigate the phenomenon and exorcise the Infernals to give their souls peace.
8 Haran Demon Infernal Form
A Desperate Demon Transformation
- Manga Debut: Chapter 108
Haran was one of the Evangelists, working alongside Arrow. In his final fight against Arthur and Shinra, he found himself in a pinch. In a desperate attempt to turn the tide, Haran played his trump card by transforming into a horned Demon Infernal. It's unclear whether he retained his memories as a human, but the upgrade he received after transforming temporarily turned the battle in his favor.
Fire Force is Finally Starting to Heat Up
Season 3 of Fire Force has been setting things up for a major clash. With tensions continuing to rise, things finally start to pick up.
This form came with increased speed, strength, durability, and firepower. Haran was able to hold his own against Arthur and showed that he was more than capable of overpowering both Arthur and Shinra if the battle had continued.
7 Demon Infernal Tempe
The Sentient Suicide Bomber
- Manga Debut: Chapter 121
This suicidal Demon Infernal first appears during the Chinese Peninsula arc, where he battles Ogun and Shinra. Tempe, who retains his human memories, is a sentient demon-type Infernal. He puts up a formidable fight against Ogun and Shinra, who are attempting to stop his plan for a massive group suicide that would kill him and his followers.
Tempe is incredibly durable, able to withstand Ogun’s fierce attacks. As a pyrokinetic, he possesses a powerful long-range fire attack. Using his ability, Tempe engulfs his opponent in a beam of fire so intense it appears as a bright white light, exploding moments later.
6 Konro Sagamiya’s Demon Infernal Doppelgänger
A Mirroring Of Konro
- Manga Debut: Chapter 43
Making its first appearance in Year 196, at a large infernal outbreak in Asakusa during the Asakusa Arc, this Demon-type infernal is partly responsible for Benimaru’s character development and Konro’s illness in the story.
The demon infernal shows up when Benimaru and Konro have overused their abilities. Konro pushes Benimaru aside to face it alone, but this Demon type was able to mirror Konro’s pyrokinetic abilities. Konro, being a Third Generation Pyrokinetic who had as much destructive force as Benimaru at that time, is forced to use his abilities to the limit. Ultimately, he’s left with permanent injuries and is unable to fight as a pyrokinetic after the fight.
5 Leonard Burns' Doppelgänger
Adolla-Enhanced Power
- Manga Debut: Chapter 221
A Third Generation Pyrokinetic and the former captain of Special Fire Force Company 1, Burns was unquestionably powerful as a human. After being taken into Adolla by his Demon Doppelganger and merging with it, he becomes even more powerful.
Fire Force: Obi's Rescue Arc Kicks off Season 3, Showing Company 8's Struggle As Outlaws To Save Their Captain
The arc intensifies as Company 8 confronts not only the White-Clad but also the very institutions they once served.
Burns retained his memories in Infernal form. His durability and pyrokinetic abilities reached new heights. Even in human form, he was a walking tank, using his Ignition Ability, Voltage Nova, which had multiple stages—each one exponentially stronger than the last.
4 Hibachi Shinmon’s Doppelgänger
A Destructive Obsession
- Manga Debut: Chapter 221
This battle-obsessed Infernal had a singular goal: to test his successor, Benimaru. As similar as he was to the original, this demonic Hibachi had no care for others and sought the destruction of Tokyo. Even firing dangerous fire attacks that put civilian lives at risk, he expressed nothing but criticism and disappointment in Benimaru.
This infernal had a rare ability to float in the air alongside impressive durability and fire output. He was able to vaporize a chunk of the oceans behind him with a single attack on Benimaru. The heat he generated was so intense that it brought Adolla closer to Earth.
3 Dragon
Human Turned Mythical Beast
- Manga Debut: Chapter 180
Dragon’s nature isn’t entirely clear, because he had achieved an incredible feat of being able to transform himself into an infernal and revert to his human form at will. Dragon was a Third Generation Pyrokinetic and Commander of the White-Clad's Destroyers, and without a doubt, one of the strongest in his form.
Possessing remarkable physical strength, durability, and resilience, he defeated Arthur even after Arthur had fully embraced his knightly delusions. Dragon destroyed Arthur’s Excalibur and even tanked an attack from Benimaru, who was one of the strongest pyrokinetics in the Fire Force story. He had embraced what was initially given to him as a nickname, “dragon,” to the full extent, being able to fly using wings and breathe fire through his mouth like a mythological beast.
2 Benimaru’s Doppelganger
Benimaru's Identical & Formidable Double
- Manga Debut: Chapter 230
Being the Adolla version of Benimaru, this creature was nearly identical to its human version and looked way less than an average infernal. Benimaru was a Second and Third Generation pyrokinetic, and it was the same for his infernal doppelganger.
Fire Force: Everything You Need To Know About Benimaru Shinmon
The Captain of Company 7 turned out to be one of Fire Force's most compelling characters.
This infernal was acknowledged as one of the most powerful doppelgangers, and like his counterpart, he was capable of using Ignition abilities. He wielded “lai Hand-Sword” techniques and could control all ignition abilities within a certain radius, making him one of the toughest antagonists in the story.
1 Shinrabanshōman
The God-Like Ultimate Infernal
- Manga Debut: Chapter 296
This infernal is the most powerful in the story. He is given god-like abilities, as he is able to manipulate Adolla, allowing him to change and create concepts, reshape and warp reality by manipulating fire, heat, energy, and matter. In addition to his creation abilities, he is also capable of time manipulation. Due to his moving at immeasurable speed, he is able to reverse, fast-forward, pause, and play time as he wishes, without any drawbacks.
Beyond these god-tier abilities, he’s also able to control life and death itself. He was able to not only revive extinct animals and create entire forests and ecosystems, but also revive every single human who died during the cataclysm, and also the ones who were turned into infernals, and those who were murdered throughout the series.
