Although things have been pretty quiet in Roblox's Fisch since the Second Sea dropped, the devs are still doing their part to keep the spark alive—whether it's through fun limited-time events or permanent updates like the Carrot Garden quest and the newest Lobster Fishing mechanic.
The latest Lobster Fishing is all set to make your Fisch adventure truly wholesome. Now, players can catch all kinds of lobsters—from tiny ones to massive giants—across both seas, fill out their unique bestiary entries, and haul in a bunch of fish at once in various places. For those interested, this guide will show you what's included in the Lobster update in Fisch.

How to Catch Lobsters in Fisch
The first thing players will notice in this update is, of course, lobsters. Once snagged, these creatures will be added to your existing bestiary entries. For example, the Ancient Lobster will show up in the Ancient Isle bestiary. You can grab 14 unique lobsters across the First and Second Seas, with the Lobster King playing its own cutscene.

Second Sea |
To catch lobsters in Fisch, you'll need to find Lobster Pools out in the ocean—but here's the catch: they only appear when you're sailing in a Utility Boat. Regular boats won’t show them. Just ride around in any sea and look for red patches in the water. Once you spot one, press X to open your cage menu, pick a cage, and toss it in. You can throw up to five at a time. After a short wait, a mini-game will pop up where you’ll need to click when the lobster bar hits the white zone in a circle. Each lobster needs a specific type of cage. For example, if you want to snag the Lobster King, you’ll need a Cursed Cage.
Utility Boats
Additionally, Utility Boats are now up for grabs. They work just like regular boats but are required if you want to wrap up the exclusive fish slots or try out Net Fishing (more on that later). To get a Utility Boat in Fisch, talk to the Utility Shipwright—he’s on Lobster Shores (southeast side of Terrapin Island in the First Sea) or at Netter’s Haven (east side of Waveborne Island in the Second Sea). Head below to find the obtainable boats:

Lobster Cages
Since lobsters can only be trapped using special cages, you’ll need to make sure you have the right ones. To get lobster cages in Fisch, head to the Utility Shipwright in either sea and buy from there—the cages will be placed near this NPC. The only exception is the Cursed Cage. To get the Cursed Cage, you must chat with the Lobster Cultist. Check out this table to learn the cost, stats and buying location of each cage:

Fisch: Complete Second Sea Guide
Second Sea is a new world in Roblox’s Fisch, offering fresh rods, bestiaries, and a whole new adventure to dive into; here’s what’s waiting for you.
New Chef Larry Quest
Players can also take on a quest given by Chef Larry. Since this update is permanent, the quest is too. To start, go to Lobster Shores in the First Sea and look for the red hut across the bridge—Chef Larry is inside. He’ll ask you to bring him a lobster with a unique mutation and type. Once you deliver it, he’ll reward you with a Lobster Roll, which you’ll need to get the Cursed Cage and summon the Lobster King. Because you’ll need several Cursed Cages to get a shot at catching this gigantic lobster, you’ll have to repeat the quest to stock up on Lobster Rolls.
Latest Lobster Rod
The 1.31.0 update added some cool fishing rods, but the Lobster Rod is the exclusive one. It’s got a red claw design, solid stats, and a rare mutation that makes your fish sell for five times more—great for farming money in the Second Sea. To get it, just give a Lobster King to a cute NPC named Mike, found on Waveborne Island in the Second Sea.
Net Fishing
Lastly, Net Fishing is a new thing that lets you scoop up a bunch of fish from the ocean in one go. To try it out in Fisch, buy a net, equip it by swapping out the utility hook on your Utility Boat, and then head to a fish school patch in the ocean. Hit X to select a net, complete the mini-game, and you’ll pull in a whole load of fish.
