Roblox’s Fisch now has two worlds, known as the First Sea and Second Sea. Each has plenty of islands for players to explore, complete their bestiaries, and collect fishing rods and other items. While the Second Sea is a new dimension, it isn’t all that different from the first. That said, Waveborne is an exclusive area in the Second Sea.
Just like Moosewood, it’s the very first spot players teleport to when they enter this brand-new world. The fish here also prefer specific baits, some bought from the First Sea and others from the Second. Plus, each fish has its own favorite spawning time, weather, and season. Here’s how to spot all these fish and complete the Waveborne Bestiary in Fisch.
Fisch: How to Complete Veil of the Forsaken Bestiary
In Fisch, Veil of the Forsaken is the last spot of Mariana's Veil, where you can finish its bestiary and even catch Scylla.
How to Complete the Waveborne Bestiary in Fisch
Waveborne has 14 of the latest fish you can catch in the Second Sea — and most of them sell for a solid amount, especially Vortex Ray. But reaching this spot isn’t as simple for everyone since it only unlocks once you hit level 200 in the First Sea and defeat Cthulu’s Boss.
Waveborne Bestiary Location in Fisch
As mentioned earlier, Waveborne is the default area of the Second Sea in Fisch, so you’ll automatically land there once you access it. To reach it, start by talking to the Sea Traveler on Terrapin Island. After that, head over to Silas, waiting inside the giant door. Just a quick heads up — you’ll need to hit level 200 in the First Sea to move forward. Once that’s done, step inside, watch a short cutscene, and face off against Cthulu’s Boss. Beat him to unlock his chamber, jump in, and you’ll be sent straight to Waveborne. If you’ve already defeated the boss, all you need to do is talk to the Sea Traveler, and they’ll teleport you right to Waveborne.

Tips to Catch All Waveborne Bestiary Fish in Fisch
Here are some tips to help you fill out the Waveborne bestiary fast:
- Most Waveborne fish can be caught using random bait — whether it’s from the First or Second Sea. But for mythical and exotic ones, Weird Algae usually does the trick. Some fish are a bit picky, though, and will only bite if you’re using their preferred bait, which you can grab from Tropical Bait Crates or while AFK mining in the Second Sea.
- Totems also work here. If a fish doesn’t show up at night, you can use the Sundial Totem to switch the time of day. And if you’re waiting on weather-dependent catches, Smokescreen, Tempest Totem, and Windset Totem can help you cycle through the weather.
- Lastly, fishing rods from the First Sea won’t be as effective in Waveborne, especially when you’re after the high-rarity fish. To make it easier, switch to rods from the Second Sea. You can get your hands on three new ones — the Wildflower Rod, Firefly Rod, and Frog Rod — all available at Waveborne. Just make sure you’ve sold some fish and saved up a bit of money before you grab them.
