Just like almost every souls-like out there right now, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn utilizes Healing Flasks to refill player health. The player has a set number of charges that are refilled every time they rest. Flintlock continues the tradition of increasing the number of Healing Flask charges through a specific mechanic in the game, and once you figure out what that mechanic is, you'll be able to seek it out as you explore. This guide will explain what that mechanic is, and how to find it in the world, revealing how to get more Healing Flasks in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.

How to Get More Healing Flasks in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn
In Flintlock, players can get more Healing Flasks by clearing out a hostile Hamlet, and then interacting with the Coffee Shop Host once the Hamlet is cleared out and the Leader defeated. This mechanic is introduced fairly early on in Flintlock. The first Hamlet players will be introduced to is Port Solace, which pits Nor against several enemies, culminating in the fight against Iron Crown, the area's Leader. Once the leader is defeated, Nor will automatically be placed in front of the Coffee Shop. Head inside the building, and look for the odd-shaped creature in the center of the main room. Hold Triangle/Y after approaching the entity to interact. After a brief conversation, Nor will receive an upgrade to the Healing Flask, adding one charge. Once the Coffee Shop has been unlocked, it will be added to Flintlock's fast-travel network.
Each Healing Flask charge refills 50% of your health. To increase your max health, visit Flintlock's Inaya Shrines.
Locating the Second Healing Flask Upgrade:
Once players complete the first area, which effectively serves as a long tutorial, it will not be long before they can find the second Healing Flask upgrade. After upgrading your gear for the first time with Baz, you will begin "Defenders of the Storm," the first real quest in the game. After learning the portal mechanics, you will come to the first Lodestone in the region. The second upgrade is not far from here. Follow these directions to reach the second hostile Hamlet, Gavel Gate.
- From the Lodestone, head northwest up the road towards the castle.
- After passing a small house on the right, turn right and head towards the edge of the cliff. You'll see a portal skull at the edge. Use it to reach the rocky area a bit out from the cliffs. Climb to the top and then look southwest to find more portals, which lead to the back of Gavel Gate.
- Make your way through Gavel Gate until you reach Galen the Noble. Galen is a shield-and-mace-wielding enemy. He packs a serious punch with his mace, so make sure you enter the fight with as many flask charges as possible.
- Defeating Galen the Noble will clear the Hamlet, even if there are lesser enemies remaining. Nor will automatically be placed in front of the Coffee house. Speak to the Host inside to upgrade your Healing Flask again.
The Hamlet/Coffee Shop mechanic is the only known way to upgrade Healing Flasks in Flintlock. There are currently seven known Coffee Shops that upgrade the Healing Flask. Compete every Hamlet you encounter to unlock them all, upgrading the Healing Flask to its max level.
