Reputation is the key currency in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn that players will use to level up, upgrade their weapons, and purchase new uniforms. While exploring, various dead bodies can be found sparkling, meaning they can be looted for a Conscript's Button.

Conscript's Buttons will be a common item players find throughout their journey and are an easy source of Reputation that can be sold whenever the players want. Selling items is a little different in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn, but can still be done by those who know how to do it.

How To Sell Conscript's Button In Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn

  • Conscript's Buttons - 150 Reputation

Conscript's Buttons can be sold anytime, anywhere by going into the inventory. In the top right will be the Soldier's Satchel, with Conscript's Buttons being all in one stack within. When hovering over the buttons, players can either sell them individually or all at once. No matter how they are sold, the price will be the same. While it may be tempting to sell them all at once, Reputation can be lost on death, making Conscript's Buttons a protected deposit of Reputation that players can spend a few at a time to get a specific upgrade or skill.

The Reputation multiplier doesn't affect the Reputation earned from selling buttons. Conscript's Buttons don't appear as an icon on the map and are very easy to miss. They are such an easy form of Reputation that players should take their time and explore the world, checking every dead body to see if they have a button.

Can You Sell Old Gear In Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn

While Conscript's Buttons are sold through the inventory, there is no way to sell other items or gear. While inventory management won't be something for players to worry about, they should consider carefully where they invest their reputation and materials. Many weapons and armor pieces will have base stats that are better than others, so it's best to wait until a bit further into the game before spending all your resources on upgrading your gear.

Unlike gear, players can get back spent reputation from skills through respecing. It is possible to respec, but not all reputation spent on the skill will be returned. Unlike crafting materials, Reputation is earned fairly easily as players master the game and the Reputation multiplier, making unlocking skills the ideal choice early into the game.
