There are three types of quests players can complete in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn: main quests, side quests, and Sapper quests. Sapper's quests focus on the people in your camp who are traveling and helping Nor out, with the first one focusing on Baz.
Before facing the Revenant at Whitebridge, players will walk through a campsite and talk to Baz, where he will mention he was recently mugged by deserters. The Revenant is the first main boss players will face, and completing this Sapper quest beforehand can help further get players ready.
Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn - How To Change Appearance
Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn gives players multiple ways to change the appearance of Nor; here's how to do it.
How To Complete Lost In Battle In Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn
The location for this quest is in the cave far west from the camp where it begins. Reaching this cave will take players through the destroyed town infested with spiders and Dead, with the northern path leading to the Revenant boss fight. Outside of the town, follow the railroad that leads straight to the mine. There will be a large gap where the railroad breaks, with a path of platforms that players can jump between appearing along the left side of the mountain.
Heading inside the cave, continue to follow the railroad and take the second path to the left. This will lead you to a large room with a hole in the middle, which can be dropped down using the last-second double-jump method to not take damage with a Lodestone being found below. Face southwest and go through that tunnel to the room with the spider and armored enemy before following the path to the left.
Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn - How To Sell Items
Players will find dozens of Conscript's Buttons in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn; here's what to do with them.
The First Breaching Barrel
Following the narrow path forward, you'll get to the second room with three enemies with the back path blocked. After clearing the room, players will find the first Breaching Barrel just off to the right side of the pathway and can use it to breach the cave-in blocking your path. Restore your health and make sure you're ready and spend any Reputation before proceeding to the next room.
The Second Breaching Barrel & Savage Swarm
The next room will be much larger with many explosive barrels within. Lying by the cave-in directly ahead will be one of the people who mugged Baz, and will give you his Blunderbuss.
- Shoots 10 pellets in a 60-degree spread
- Black Powder Charges: 2
- Damage: 4
- Stun: 8
This pistol is ideal for large groups but is not ideal for hitting exact enemies or barrels, so it's recommended players maintain using a precise pistol before proceeding. From the soldier that had Baz's Blunderbuss, turn around and go to the back right corner of the cave to find a Breaching Barrel, placing it in the cave in and blowing it up to unleash a horde of dead. Most of the enemies within the swarm will be basic enemies that can easily be taken care of using the various explosive barrels throughout the room, with one large two-headed enemy coming out last that will pose enough of a threat to require a few parries to take down.
With Baz's gun in hand, continue through the cave the swarm just came from until you reach the next and final room. While there are a few enemies huddled around an explosive barrel, you can jump on the platform along the right side of the cave to reach the way outside. Use the rift vortex up and to the right to return to the main road taking you back to Baz. The main reward for this quest is keeping his Blunderbuss, while also earning an additional 500 Reputation.
