Fortnite's most recent collaboration was with DC to coincide with the premiere of James Gunn's Superman, which featured two styles of Superman skins, cosmetics and emotes, the Fortress of Solitude base, and many more. The DC hype didn't stop as Fortnite also added a Teen Titans skin to the Item Shop as part of the Chapter 6 Season 3 update.

As Fortnite prepares to transition to Chapter 6 Season 4 in early August, leaks have revealed that the game might add a new Halo skin to the upcoming battle pass. According to a report by leaker ShiinaBR, Fortnite might introduce a skin based on a female Spartan, whose name is still unknown, and a red/blue energy sword pickaxe in Season 4. Rumors also state that the next Fortnite update's event might be called "Invasions Evolved." If the leaks are reliable, the female Spartan could be the second Fortnite x Halo skin after Master Chief.

In the Halo franchise, Spartans are typically male supersoldiers, including protagonist Master Chief, but women are also part of this impressive group. Some of Halo's strongest Spartans include the likes of Halo 4's Spartan Commander Sarah Palmer and Halo: Ghosts of Onyx's Lucy-B091, so it's possible that either of them could be the female Spartan featured in Fortnite's upcoming crossover skin.
Meanwhile, many Fortnite fans expressed their excitement for the rumored new Halo skin, especially since it's been nearly five years since the Master Chief skin was first launched. Some also theorized that the rumored "Invasions Evolved" event could be a reference to the sixth installment, Halo: Reach, which is also a Halo: Combat Evolved prequel, because it has an Invasion game mode in multiplayer. Invasion sees three squads of two players, which pits Spartans against Elites in a battle to gain control of territories on the map. It's definitely possible for Fortnite to introduce a similar game mode for Season 4 to go with the alleged female Spartan skin.
Fans can expect more skins and cosmetics to be released in the future, allegedly including more Dragon Ball Z crossovers, among many other exciting releases.
