Summary

  • Many fans feel the Adventure Time cosmetics are overpriced in Fortnite.
  • Gamers are excited to see the highly-requested musical artist Sabrina Carpenter in the game.
  • It's rumored that Fortnite could be collaborating with Dragon Ball and Star Wars again in the near future.

While many fans seem to be happy with the content of the latest collaboration between Fortnite and Adventure Time, a large portion of the community feels that the cosmetics are generally overpriced. Fortnite is currently in the middle of Chapter 6 Season 2, but players are already looking toward the future, which may include a crossover season with Star Wars.

Season 8 of Fortnite Festival began recently, which introduced a major collaboration between the popular singer Sabrina Carpenter and Fortnite. Fans looking to acquire all the singer's cosmetics will need to purchase and progress through the Festival Pass, which can be bought alone or as a part of the Fortnite Crew subscription. Gamers will then need to visit the Item Shop, where they can purchase a larger bundle that includes another set of cosmetics, emotes, and jam tracks. Many players seem to be happy with the collaboration, as the community has been asking to see Sabrina Carpenter added to the game since 2024.

Fortnite Fans Are Upset With Its Newest Kicks

Fortnite players take to social media to express their displeasure with the newest pair of Kicks in Epic Games' popular battle royale.

In a recent post on Reddit, KvasirTheOld shared an image of the game's most recent Item Shop, which shows the new Adventure Time skin Marceline priced at 1,500 V-Bucks. They pointed out that the skin alone costs 1,500 V-Bucks without an edit style, a back bling, or a pickaxe, which they believe is overpriced. It's worth noting that Marceline can be purchased as part of a larger bundle that includes Jake, Finn, and Princess Bubblegum for 3,800 V-Bucks.

Fortnite Fans Think the Adventure Time Cosmetics Are Overpriced

Many fans agreed that the prices seem high, especially since the large bundle doesn't include several of the cosmetics. For instance, the BMO back bling is priced at 600 V-Bucks on its own and isn't available in a larger bundle. This is true for two back blings, three emotes, a glider, and a car associated with the show Adventure Time. In the past, Epic Games has offered multiple bundles for collaborations that include a lot of accessories, but that didn't happen this time, leaving many fans confused as to why some items cost so much. KvasirThe Old stated that they wouldn't be purchasing the skin like they had planned, as they didn't want to support the price.

It was recently rumored that Epic Games could be coordinating a collaboration between the hit animated show Dragon Ball Daima and Fortnite. While the anime mostly features its heroes as children throughout the show, some gamers are hoping to see the adult versions of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta and Super Saiyan 4 Goku arrive in the Item Shop. With so much content to enjoy and even more updates on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
