Each time there's a new Fortnite season, characters around the Battle Royale map come and go. And this time around the entire map has completely changed since the game has entered a new chapter. This means that all the NPCs have been taken out and replaced with different ones.

In this guide, players will be able to see which NPCs have been put on the island to substitute the ones that were there before. It also contains information on their locations and what services they will provide the player and their team during their Fortnite matches through the rest of the season.

There is a total of 15 characters to be found on this new Fortnite map. They are all pretty scattered to guarantee that despite wherever the player decides to land, they'll encounter an NPC that can provide their services.

All of these characters are either skins that are currently part of the Battle Pass or have been seen in the game before either through the Item Shop or purchasable bundles.

All the characters mentioned above are friendly and won't attack when spotting the player. It's safe to approach them, and they will only engage in battle if shot at first.

There are other non-aggressive characters that players may encounter on the island, but they will appear in random locations, and they can only be seen from time to time. Therefore, it's not possible to tell if they will appear or when they'll appear. That's why they're not considered Characters in the Collections page of the game and why they aren't part of this article.
