Epic Games likes to start each Fortnite season with a set of Kickstart Quests. Not only are they a great way to introduce players to everything that was added with the season update, but they also grant them a nice XP boost so they can start unlocking their first few Battle Pass rewards.

Fortnite: Chapter 6 Season 2 Milestone Quests Guide

Players can boost their Fortnite season level by completing these Milestone Quests.

Players who haven't tried out this chapter can get used to the unique Chapter 6-exclusive items and mechanics while doing other tasks such as revealing the most recently added locations. This guide will show players how to get through all the Chapter 6 Season 2 Kickstart Quests.

How to Complete All Chapter 6 Season 2 Kickstart Quests

Kickstart Quests don't offer any cosmetic rewards, but they're still worth doing. Players will receive 15,000 XP for each Chapter 6 Season 2 Kickstart Quest they finish. In total, they can earn up to 150,000 XP for their efforts, which is worth nearly two account levels in Fortnite.

Thankfully, most quests can be completed simply by playing Fortnite, so players won't have to go out of their way to finish them.

Visit Crime City, Lonewolf Lair, Seaport City, or Masked Meadows

To start off the "Rob a Vault" section of the Kickstart Quests, gamers will have to visit one of the named locations that have vaults. Crime City and Lonewolf Lair are Chapter 6 Season 2 POIs on the western side of the map, while Seaport City and Masked Meadows were introduced in Season 1 and can be found on the eastern side of the island.

Collect Thermite from Outlaw Vending Machines or From Go Bags

To successfully get into a vault, gamers will have to get themselves Thermite, which can be purchased in Vending Machines, but also acquired from Go Bags. Thankfully, locations with vaults have plenty of Go Bags scattered around and at least one Vending Machine, so gamers shouldn't find it too difficult to get their hands on this item.

Plant Thermite on Bank Vaults, Armored Transports, or the Armored Train

In Fortnite, players can approach a vault door and place Thermite on it to damage it and eventually get it open. So, once they've gotten Thermite, they must head to a Bank Vault, an Armored Truck or Train, and blow it up.

Damage Vault Weakspots While Opening a Vault (100)

While the Thermite is doing it's thing, gamers can speed up the process by damaging the vault's door. To do this, they should get out their weapon and shoot the vault door.

The vault's weakspot will glow bright red after Thermite has been planted on the door, so gamers shouldn't have too much trouble locating it. It will change as the meter on top of the screen hits each check mark.

Collect a Dill Bit

Players can collect Dill Bits by entering the Train Vault or any Bank Vault. To do this, they must obtain Thermite and destroy the vault door.

Spend a Dill Bit at a Black Market

There are three Black Markets on the Chapter 6 Season 2 island. Here is where gamers should head to find them:

  • Colorful fields between Masked Meadows and Seaport City
  • North of Crime City
  • Southwest of Magic Moss

After opening a vault, gamers must head to a Black Market in that same match and spend their Dill Bit, as it will become unavailable once the game ends.

Mine a Gold Vein or Swim in Gold River Water to Gain the Effects of Gold Rush

Gamers will find Gold Veins by searching the midwestern region of the Battle Royale island, but the most straightforward way to complete this quest is to enter the water of the Gold River, which crosses the area between Shiny Shafts, Outlaw Oasis, and Crime City.

Purchase an Item From Each Black Market (3)

Players will find the Plasma Burst Laser and Falcon Eye Sniper in Fortnite just about anywhere, but they can guarantee that they get both by visiting the Black Market located between Seaport City and Masked Meadows, as it sells tem for 600 gold bars or 1 Dill Bit.

Restore Health or Shields with Med-Mist Grenades, Gold Splash, or Chug Jugs (400)

Although Chug Jug restores more health, it is much harder to find, as it is a high-rarity heal. However, players can find it randomly, by taking down the Forecast Tower mini-boss or Shogun X, and by opening the Armored Transport. Med-Mist Grenades and Gold Splash can be found easily as floot loot and inside chest containers.

Eliminate Players With Legendary or Better Weapons (3)

  • Take down Shogun X
  • Take down Fletcher Kane
  • Open Bank Vaults
  • Open the Train Vault
  • Open the Armored Transport

The methods above guarantee Legendary or better weapons, but gamers can also randomly find them inside chest containers or as floor loot.
