From the very first episode of The Mandalorian, audiences fell in love with Grogu, who officially went by The Child up until Season 2 of the first live-action Star Wars show. With the internet always up in debate regarding the name of Baby Yoda or Grogu, everyone can set aside their names and rejoice, for the adorable Force-sensitive Grogu has come to Fortnite as a Back Bling.
Fortnite: All Star Wars Skins
Star Wars x Fortnite has seen many iconic characters from the galaxy far, far away come to the famous Battle Royale.
There are actually 2 Baby Yoda Back Blings in Fortnite, and players are able to get their hands on the cutest addition to the Star Wars franchise since the Ewoks. Grogu might not be able to Force-choke an enemy, but he is going to look utterly adorable in his little pod and backpack thanks to this Fortnite x Star Wars collab.
How to Get Grogu
Grogu wants more cookies, please.
As part of The Mandalorian set of cosmetics, players can acquire Grogu by heading to the Item Shop from August 12, 8 PM ET. Once in the Item Shop, players can check through the Star Wars cosmetics to see Grogu on sale for 600 V-Bucks. If players also want to grab an outfit with Grogu, then they can purchase the IG-11 Bundle for 2,100 V-Bucks, which also comes with Grogu.
Grogu is easily one of the cutest Back Blings in Fortnite, as he will sit in a backpack, happily eating blue cookies and drinking milk whilst the player is in the midst of battle. Grogu is a reactive Back Bling, which makes him act like Fortnite's pet Back Blings, allowing them to look around, make noises, and react to the carnage ahead of them. Just be careful with Grogu, as too many cookies might make him throw up.
Grogu will be in the Fortnite Item Shop until August 20, 8 PM ET.
How to Get The Child
Where I go, he goes.
The Child was the first iteration of the Baby Yoda Back Bling in Fortnite, and it was only available to players who had the Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass. Players who want this variant of the Grogu Back Bling are out of luck, as it's a Battle Pass cosmetic that will not return. If players did want it, then they would have needed to reach Level 100 in Chapter 2 Season 5's Battle Pass. Whilst it's not possible to acquire the first Baby Yoda Back Bling, everyone with V-Bucks can head to the Item Shop and acquire Grogu, which is a much more active pet Back Bling, since The Child looks around, but mainly hides in his pod when there is gunfire.
