How To Get The Bass Boost In Fortnite
The Bass Boost is one of the many Hero Items introduced in Fortnite Super. Players can obtain this elusive item through a variety of different methods.
The first is by finding it in Chests or as floor loot, although the chances of getting it this way are fairly low. The second method is through Academy Stands, which function similarly to Chests in that they can be opened for loot, but unlike Chests, players will know exactly what they’re getting when opening one.
Academy Stands can be found all over the island, most notably in named POIs, with guaranteed Academy Stands located in locked rooms with the Tech Lab at Supernova Academy.
The final way to acquire the Bass Boost is by looting Hero Caches. These can be found at various locations across the Fortnite Island, with each cache marked on the map when available. The reward players receive from a Hero Cache is tied to the Hero Rank required to open, with ranks B through to S offering a random Hero Item.
How To Use The Bass Boost In Fortnite
The Bass Boost is a unique item in Fortnite, functioning more as a mobility tool than a traditional weapon. It features two distinct abilities: Bass Wave and Bass Jump. Each use consumes one charge, with the number of available charges shown just below the player’s reticle. These charges are replenished every eight seconds after use, with the Rare version of the item having two charges, the Epic version having three, and the Mythic variant boasting four uses.
